Crust Station — Restaurant in Edisto Beach

We ordered takeout during a recent trip to Edisto. We were unable to access their website, so we called in the order. Appears the island was having internet issues. We were not aware of the specialty pizzas so we ordered a build your own, mushroom, pepperoni, and extra cheese. No price given by lady who answered the phone. When I picked up the pizza, I had sticker shock at the price. A build your own consists of dough and sauce only = $21.50, pepperoni = $3.00, mushrooms = $3.00, cheese = $3.00, extra cheese $3.00, Total $33.50. As indicated in other reviews, the sauce and cheese did not reach near the end of the dough. It was only dough of about an inch from the outer edge. We also ask if it was thin crust and we were told yes, but this was not thin crust. We are disappointed no one offered the more economical option of a specialty pizza (OG) plus mushroom would have been cheaper. The pricing makes absolutely no sense. Phenomenal pizza! I highly recommend the FatJack if you’re a fan of meat lovers pizza. It’s a tad bit small inside, so don’t bring a huge party with you. The menu is pretty standard, but the pizza is very, very good. In my opinion, the crust is some of the best consistency/texture I’ve had. Not too floppy and not too hard. The servers were also very kind and hospitable. The only thing I’d recommend is to drop the prices a little bit, and to add a little extra “pizzaz” to the decor inside. I think there needs to be a vibe change as far as atmosphere. Other than that, I’ll definitely be coming back here for...

Great people.. great food!! Would order again for sure! BUT.. they have been open about a month and they have no ordering throttle on the website .. I ordered at 5:21 and when I got there at 6, the staff admitted to receiving 100+- orders at 5 on a Saturday night.. The lobby was packed and people were waiting for more than an hour…. Was it worth the wait? Yes.. Met some great people.. Yes, the lady bringing my the food I offered a hug…. She needed it.. They were working hard!...
