Apple Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Edwardsville

I have been ordering from Apple Asian Fusion for years! By far the best food around and until tonight, I never had issues.

You would think after being a customer for so long and never having an issue, a problem would be dealt with swiftly. This was not my experience.

Simply, 2 forgotten egg rolls and the restaurant lied to us and did not resolve the issue without me making 3 calls.

Yes, people suck and lie, but I never had an issue before, why would you not believe me?

I called 10-15 minutes after our food was delivered to let you know I hadn't received 2 egg rolls. I didn't care, but my s.o. did. I was told by a female manager that they were on their way.

Nope.

2 hours passed and I call to find out nothing was coming because the woman I spoke to decided they were in the bag and I was lying.

I do not understand why a restaurant would think we would lie over 2 egg rolls.

It took hours to get them to the house.

I honestly did not care until I was called a liar.

Ive been coming here for about 4 years now and have tried the entire menu, the owners are amazing and sweet and the customer service is always top notch. The veggies are always fresh and the food is always hot. I'm only giving 4 stars because the food is inconsistent sometimes, the lo mein is filled with flavor one day and then I'll switch it up for a bit and get the lo mein again and it's less flavorful and it's only after 2 or 3 orders that it gets its quality back again. The portions are good unless it's seafood which is confusing because they charge more for the seafood options but give less "meat" then they would with the regular options so there's no sense in even paying more. Ordered Lunch specials online from their website. Nowhere does it list that Crab rangoons are part of it. Apparently its sent as an appetizer for the lunch special. Fast forward to our food being delivered with shellfish inside the bag with the rest of the food. so wel call to call to say our food is contaminated.
