I understand the local draw. It's cute and quaint, and on a creek. That's why we chose to stop on our vactation. However the food was in the "okay/basic" category (so I won't knock the food too hars), but our service was virtually non-existent. Once we placed our order, we didn't see our waitress once for a check-in, or even drink refill until after we had completed our meal over 30 minutes later. And that's with half the restaurant being empty. I certainly expected more from a small "mom and pop" establishment.

Stopped by for breakfast and it was excellent... I had French toast and I was asked if I wanted cinnamon on my French toast which was a nice surprise and I also had local made maple syrup that was made just down the road which was a really nice touch... very friendly staff and excellent food... next time I go to Lime Rock this is added to the list of favorites

Found this gem on a road trip and had a wonderful breakfast! Eggs are pretty standard, but my omelet was really really delicious (spinach, mushrooms, bacon and cheese) and my companion really enjoyed his over easy eggs and corn beef hash! Wish we had this place closer to home! Service was also wonderful, friendly, helpful and attentive. Thank you again!

Hadn't been to Mom's in years. I recall a decent breakfast one time. My brother and I were in the neighborhood today, and hungry, so he suggested we stop there for lunch. I got a burger. My brother got a vegetable Rueben. Both were absolutely awful. My burger was on a stale Kaiser roll that was about 3x the size of the hockey puck of a burger. The burger was awful. Some chips and a teeny sliver of a garbage pickle- $9. Gross and a total rip-off. My brother's Rueben looked and smelled awful. He said it tasted even worse. But, like idiots, we ate our lunch anyway. Hunger stupidly does that sometimes. The waitress was terrific however- pleasant, funny, and on the job. Unfortunately, that isn't enough to ever bring us back. Too bad. Another local institution...

What a fantastic breakfast and setting. I, and 3 companions, ate out on the deck and were delightfully surprised that we were immediately adjacent to a large stream. And the food was fantastic. We had coffee, pancakes, eggs, home fries, ham steak, sausage, OJ, etc. The pancakes are genuine buttermilk and are large and delicious. The home fries have that perfect combo of seasoning, slightly crunchy, and perfectly cooked. Eggs were prepared exactly as asked. The service was great, we had two servers tend to us and they were both very attentive, even with a good crowd dining both indoors and outdoors. The only 'meh' was the regular OJ, the fresh squeezed is...

There were 11 of us and the staff couldn’t have been more chill and accommodating. No attitude, no stress, and somehow got all our food out super fast with zero mistakes. Eggs were def watered down in the omelets but otherwise the food was ok (pancakes were delish).

Would have liked for the staff to let us know anything over a party of 6 is automatic gratuity and we should have been asked if we wanted separate bills .. but not a huge deal.

Also .. yes, we saw the review about someone shitting their life away from the burger. We did not test fate (had a 2.5 hour drive ahead) and strategically avoided it. Happy to report that the rest of us survived...
