I eat here on the regular love their food! well tonight I got home sat down and opened my burrito tortilla was extremely hard and burnt barley any eggs in the burrito sausage and bacon was extremely burnt and hard I ordered my food (breakfast burrito) tonight an hour before they closed i decided to call was very respectful and told the lady im A frequent customer i always order this burrito and usually it's amazing tonight it's not prepped right she then told me she's closed now bring her the burrito tomorrow so she can see and determine if I'm lying or not she proceeded to argue with me about the time I ordered it saying I picked up my burrito 40 min later which was not true I picked it up 15-20 min later because she told me it would be ready in 10 min she kept arguing saying I picked it up 40 min later Arent the TO GO orders under a warmer for customers satisfaction? i asked her if I could just have a refund so i can purchase something else to eat tonight she said no not unless you bring me the burrito i have to see it i said no you don't have to see it you want too see it I live deep in lakeside and told her I don't has gas to drive out there right now she said oh well I need to see it like really?? why would you rather lose a customer instead of just refunding the $12.00 she said well I need to see the burrito don't eat it and bring it back here if you return something at target you have to have the item right ill wait and you can bring it to me like really?? Erica is telling me the taco shop is closed and she cashed out the pos system and you can’t remake another burrito then why would I come back and bring you the burrito if you can’t fix the problem?? & Your a taco shop not target to satisfy the customer u apologize and fix the situation not argue with them and tell them they are lying I then asked for managers name she said I don't need to give it to you just call tomorrow and ask for the manager.. Wow what great customer service Erica has I think you guys need to put more training into the cashiers she sat on the phone with me for a good 6 min arguing with me implying that I'm lying about the food. A friend of mine has been taking me here lately for dinner. Food is ok. The fish tacos, well, the batter on the tacos is so very tasty! But, the tacos themselves are too big and unweildy also the tortilla is fried for some reason. But not well enough because it disentegrates upon pick up when I got it. And when it got cold- remarkably fast- it wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. Oh well. They have gigantic quesidillas! We ordered a vegi supreme twice. Once normally; had too many beans and was super soggy, bleh. Another time, we exchanged the beans for shredded chicken (which came with more onions and peppers- yum!) And that was crispy and cheesy and hearty! Loved it! Salsa isn't anything special I am afraid. But, it's not bad either. So that's good. Drinks are large, prices cheap. So, if you are in the neighborhood and hankering cheap Mexican good- this isn't bad.

Would I go back on my own? No. There are too many much better places. But, if my friend is paying- and this is what he likes....

So Ive been a regular customer at Los Chavos for over a year, and we regularly pick up food for my work there. The other day I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and added chipotle sauce (cost $2.00! Which i wasnt told about when i ordered it over the phone). I grabbed the burrito on my lunch break and headed back to work to eat in our lot. While eating the burrito, i think i had maybe a single bite in it where there was actually chipotle sauce. Pretty upset considering how much it is. So i called the lady back up and told her what happened, and she said she would cover it for me the next time.

So here i am today. I go in to order my burrito, and she tells me she cant cover the sauce anymore and i have to pay for it, because her cook told her he put it in. He put maybe a teaspoon of the sauce in. Im pretty pissed, so they get a 1 star for customer service. Hope $2.00 worth of chipotle sauce is worth losing a regular customer and their coworkers...
