Jack's Sub — Restaurant in El Monte

I've been coming to this place for about 44 years and a repeat customer i go at least twice a week just recently they have been skimping or their servings the large fries are the same size as the small fries but cost about 2.50 more when I seen that the fries were the same size I asked the owner to fix it,so he put his hands all over the fries and threw them back in the fry tray..very dirty, at that point I just asked for a refund and the lady the owners wife handles the money and register and then touches the food without washing her hands and is super rude when you ask her for extra ketchup,napkins or whatever. Restrooms are also disgusting I'm very disappointed with that place lately I've ignored another of it before in the past but I don't think I will be going back until they attempt to fix things.Im not sure what the owners (husband and wife) are going through but they need to leave that rude attitude...

I saw this place on Google Maps and found the food to be cheap so I ordered a double cheeseburger ($3.89) and the old woman charged me $8.64 (yes, one burger, not the combo). All right, I know what you were thinking. As expected, I was the last one to get my food and there were other customers behind me who got their food first. I am used to Asians treating Asians like this. I will stay away from this restaurant and leave a 1 star review and describe the facts so that other customers will notice. My mistake was not realizing that the people who run this restaurant are Asians, the photos on Google Maps do not show this or I would not have come. I want to tell all customers that if you see a store with 4.5 stars and above, you are most likely encountering a restaurant by Asians...

Im a big fan of pastrami sandwiches. It was my 1st time there & I was given such great reviews about the place that I thought "I have to go with the Pastrami & cheese oprion!" Now, if u know a GOOD pastrami sandwich, u definitely would expect a sandwhich that doesn't because its stuffed with pastrami, right? Well.... not this one. My sandwhich was thinner than the cold cut my partner got and just made me think "poor th8ng, what happened?" It was disappointing unfortunately BUT the other sandwich was good so as much as I wanted to give it a 3-Star, I figured I'd be fair since the cold cut was good & hearty.
