Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in El Paso

Seriously if I could give this establishment a 0 I sure would. I ordered my breakfast and the food was nasty. I seen the cook put the biscuits in the microwave she ran out of sausage and I seen her seop the sausage in the fryer. Carl's use to be my favorite breakfast but not anymore the bathroom smells like sewage, it smells like nasty old grease. The service I received from the manager was horrible she was rude and she seen the way the cook was making my food. I will never go to Carl's Jr again. I have been there in the evenings as well and your staff is so rude, instead of taking care of customers they are on their phones, playing around, there has been a lot of cursing. Really the upper management needs to figure out the problem. We loved the last opening manager you had she was kind and considerate always asked if we would like jelly with our biscuit. I miss the friendliness from that manager too bad you let that...

It has been years since I ate a a Carl's Jr and now I remember why... service was good and the restaurant was clean... however the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the original thick burger combo. Fries were good but the burger was horrible. I bit into the burger and the first thing I noticed was how crunchy and over cooked the meat was. I don't mean a bit overdone like "well done," I'm talking charcoal briquettes kind of overdone. The burger was overcooked but they managed to also package it cold. I managed to get thru about half and couldn't do anymore. Not wanting to chance a 2nd go; I finished my fries and shake and left. Yes, I should have complained to the manager but listening to the crew in back, I'm not sure what would have come out would have been edible 🤔. Very disappointing this evening. Lady manager at register was very cold with her customer service, no name tag no uniform no smile. Doesn't want to be there and it shows. Very sloppy appearances and poor hygiene by guy working drive thru. Soda counter was a mess and sticky. Floor was a mess throughout, wasn't even busy. Restroom a mess and hasn't been checked in a while it seems. Food was fresh though and saved it from a 1 star review. This place sucks pretty bad right now otherwise. Steer clear for a while.
