Went to this restaurant for dinner and had a terrible experience. The food started out tasty. Our table ordered 5 dishes. Out of the 5, there were issues with 3 of them. The shrimp fajitas advertise 12 shrimp on the menu, and our dish only had 9. The carnitas were dried out, overcooked, and burnt in some places. My father found a large piece of metal embedded in the meat and vegetables when taking a bite and it punctured his lip. We brought it to the waiters attention and he quickly took the metal away and said he was going to check what it could be in the kitchen. No apologies, just wanted to take the piece of metal away as quickly as possible. He came back 5 minutes later without the metal and said it was "probably from the cilantro". I'm guessing he meant the paper/plastic wrapped type metal that's used to close grocery bags and sometimes is around bundles of vegetables. That would mean the paper or plastic wrapping had dissolved into the food already. A few minutes later, the waiter apologized to a different person from the table (and not the person who bit into metal) and never spoke to anyone else. After that, the waiter avoided our table like the plague and didn't refill drinks, take plates or anything until we were ready to leave. When he showed up with the bill, he said he took off for the dish that had the metal. There was a maybe 15% discount off the bill and no one or manager ever came to talk to us other than the waiter. The lack of customer service and care is apparent in this situation.

The food was good as usual however, I wouldn't recommend getting the guacamole not worth the money nothing extra in it just avocados lime and salt. The most disappointing thing was the service, we were visiting from Missouri and chose to eat at Casita Lindas since we loved eating there when we lived in El Paso for years. However, since we were traveling we didn't want to have leftovers with no where to put them so we shared plates. The waitress was upset that we were sharing and barely talked to us after ordering and just tossed our food on the table without saying anything and in a rude manner. She had asked you're not ordering anything else. We almost left but we had been anticipating eating there since we started our 15 hour journey. She got a little nicer towards the end but her body language was still filled with annoyance and she just dropped the stuff off and left. Passed us the check without asking if we were ready etc. It was sad especially during these times to be treated that way by a place we used to frequent. With so many options of places we wanted to eat while visiting I feel we could have had a better experience with similar food elsewhere. The gorditas at the clock are similar and are picadillo style with beef, potatoes and onions. It's a good alternative option for a fried gorditas.

This is my honest reflections and genuine experience at the this place of business. I am a diabetic type 2 and I placed and order with this restaurant by going into there website. I placed my order and paid with my cash app card. The order in Total was $33.05 and I added a note about a cash tip when the drive comes because I didn't have anymore funds on my card. The order wAs for delivery. This restaurant took out or placed on hold my last money and then cancelled my order after about 5mins after payment was took or placed on hold. And the website told me something went wrong to call the restaurant which I did to be told that they had no control over a payment being took out or placed on hold but they did not have any delivery drives at the time... All that was understood and for any other reason I could have waited the 3 or 4 hrs for them to reverse the payment or cancel it but when a person can be placed in the hospital or even lose their life due to having type 2 diabetic and has to eat to feed the insulin I take and all 8 had was that money and can't get anything from no place else 7ntil the money is return or not on hold for this restaurant to so bluntly have a disregard to someone healthy truly blows my mind... I was told I can go a pick up the food @2:11pm but they close until 4pm @ 2:15pm. That's 3mins I had to get there and had no ride. But if Ur we site says u deliver and nothing says there could be times there's no driver and we may cancel Ur order really is not right. If u are of service to Ur community this matter could have been handled better. If I could give them no Star I would. They where rude and very inconciderid when someone health and or life depends on a...
