Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in El Paso

I used to love Church's chicken, but this was a horrible letdown. I should have taken pictures to visualize my disappointment. We went inside to order to go and purchased the 15 piece chicken tenders, 6 jalapeno bombers, and a chicken sandwich. We chose french fries as our side item. I will admit we did not check the bag until we were driving away and realized they had not included the jalapeno bombers, so we turned around and went through the drive-through to request the missing item. The staff fixed the problem without any problem and we drove away. Upon arriving home to eat the food, my first 2 chicken tenders were mainly fried breading and severely dried out chicken. The third I attempted to eat had a bone in it. The jalapeno bombers don't seem to be real cheese and very little jalapeno in them, and I only had one but broke open two more. Needless to say, the chicken tenders and bombers were horrible. The only decent item was the french fries, but my appetite was gone by then and basically spent $45 to throw it in the trash. In the end, the staff was friendly and the service was quick and fixed our issue without a problem so that was nice, but the food was horrible. Will not be going...

I cant understand why rudeness is so prevalant with this store. This is the second time I have had a bad time with the workers at this store. The young lady charged me a meal and I wanted the chicken only. Then she called her manager I guess she was the manager, and she said I cant put it back to your Debit card. Looked at me like as if I as the customer had no choice but to accept the order as a meal. I told her I didnt want to pay so much and I didnt want the meal. She grabbed the calculator and told the cashier she would have to pay it back herself later. I told her it wasnt her fault and under her breath she said then who's fault is it. I would have let it go but she gave me attitude and I told her not to talk to me with that attitude. I asked to speak to a manager and she smugly said He isnt here. I asked for his number and she wrote it down then she gave me $5 and change. This store has done this before and I wish they would change their attitude. I will not go to this store anymore and I go pretty often. But even if I didnt go to this store, there is no excuse for this...

We would always go to this Church's for the reason that the one on Copia has very bad service and food. I guess this establishment is taking the same route. Today, we purchased the $44 family meal as take out. We would trust them. Thinking they'd be honest. When we got home, I started serving the family and noticed that I was missing a chicken breast. Also, the gravy was less than half as well as the mashed potatoes. They are to be large, not small. I guess this is how they save money by cheating loyal customers. Well, future customers, I recommend you check your order when you get it before walking out with it. I sure will have them count the pieces I am getting from any Church's establishment I go to. It is sad they depend on us customers to stay afloat and for them to treat us this way. We can always go somewhere else. Management don't let your employees cheat your customers. I hope its not management's idea to serve less than advertised. Now a days there no honesty, integrity or good work ethics. These kids will move on, and where will you be?...
