I wanted so badly to give them a good rating. I've had Famous Dave's before and my current experience is NOTHING like before. Maybe this is the pandemic dining experience I've been hearing about... I do want to share that the kitchen manager was very apologetic and tried to make it right but it still was an EPIC FAIL! First, the order came without the drink and wrong chicken. After speaking with the kitchen manager I was also offered a dessert in addition to the correct items for the order issues. He said the cobbler was really good so I chose that. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Next, I get the replacement order and the chicken is still wrong and also unnecessarily doubled, and the drink is wrong, but the cobbler came with vanilla ice cream. Well, it seems as if I should be grateful and pleased with this. WRONG. I speak with the kitchen manager again because I specifically requested dark meat (leg and thigh-which is also what is pictured on what was ordered) but received white meat AGAIN (breast and wing x2 for a running total of 3 now) after speaking with two different people explaining why I wanted dark meat and that the dark meat is what is even pictured on what was ordered. He, the kitchen manager, then tried to convince me that I asked for white meat. No sir, if that's the case there NEVER would have been a complaint outside of the missing drink because white meat is what was in the first order when the first complaint was made. Note that no one tells me during all this conversation that they don't have orange soda. They decided to leave that out. Again, I discussed it with two different people. So, I ended up with Sprite. Not a bad substitute, but also not what was ordered nor what was requested in discussion. Finally, after all the frustration, I sit down to try to enjoy the cobbler. Bad idea! It was literally raw, undercooked, or whatever you want to call gummy crust and crunchy peaches with peach flavored gel. DISGUSTING is too nice a word for the experience. All Famous Dave's had to say is they don't want me as a customer. No need to waste food and money like this. I'm sooo done! Tried Famous Dave’s EP location for the first time yesterday with my family and had a great experience! We happened to go on the day they were having their “All star BBQ” contest and just happened to miss the main event. Surprisingly it wasn’t too jam packed for them having such a big event going on but I wasn’t complaining. We were a party of 3 and got seated right away.

Our waitress was very good and attentive. She made sure to explain their 3 different BBQ flavors offered although we ended up trying them all anyways with the free Dave’s seasoned chips she brought to our table. Definitely recommend the sweet one!

For our entrees I ordered their BBQ pulled chicken sandwich with a side of Dave’s Mac and cheese as well as a cornbread muffin, my husband got the Sliced pork sandwich with a side of potato salad and my son got their mini corn dogs.

Everything tasted great! I do highly recommend the pulled chicken sandwich, they had just the right ratio of chicken to the sandwich buns. And their mac and cheese was DELICIOUS! Had a bit of a kick to it since it does have jalapeños in the recipe but I didn’t mind at all. I also tried the potato salad my husband had with his entree and it was definitely five star.

My husband said he enjoyed his meal and my son liked his corn dogs as well so I consider that a win!

The only thing I will mention is that the atmosphere was a tad bit too loud for my liking. It may have been because they had the All Star event going on so there was music blaring outside but inside the restaurant was also very loud. Just my personal preference though, it may not bother others.

Other than that I definitely would return again! I loved everything that I tried on my first visit, not to mention it was only around $40 for 3 people which is awesome! With the price of inflation these days I feel like going out to eat has mostly been averaging around double the price so I love that it was very affordable for us.

Five stars for Famous Dave’s...
