Frisco Burger — Restaurant in El Paso

First, place was packed! Which I took as a good sign. Once inside, no sign saying seat yourself or otherwise so basically just found an open spot...of course not a clean table to be found. After about 4 minutes, a young lady came and asked how many. Another 4-5 minutes and we got menus and she took our drink orders. She came back with the drinks and asked if we knew what we wanted...after about 2 minutes of us having our menus and having told her it was our first time. We asked for a few more minutes. She never came back. Finally we requested someone to take our orders, which consisted of a cheeseburger with bacon added and fries and then a cheeseburger w avocado and what the menu describes as "fried whole jalapeños" as add on's. 17 minutes later a new waitress brought our food. The buns were typical, the patties like those thin frozen ones you can buy at Costco. There was one drop of mustard and the meat on mine was so thin and over cooked, the burger dried out the inside of my mouth. Not to mention who ever cooked my meat managed to break up the patty a bit as well so it made for a messy presentation. I asked our new waitress to bring me some mustard and please take back the "fried jalapeños" which are fresh whole jalapeños dropped in a deep fryer with no breading and served with soy sauce...odd. It may be good, but I didn't try it because I was expecting "fried jalapeños" breaded (not poppers cus those are filled but close) and didn't want to ruin what little joy I could find in my inadequate burger. When our waitress returned, she also had green chili sauce which apparently comes standard and this place is known for...after we were 3/4s done with our meal....awesome, right? Not Anyway, the green chili is bomb but literally everything sucked otherwise. The fries were completely unsalted and slightly cold. Seriously, how does a burger joint screw up French fries? Service was terrible and I will NEVER go back. Much prefer...

Initially looking at the menu the nachos and the cheese fries caught my eye. Unfortunately, I did not look at the date of when they had nachos on their menu, ( yrs n yrs ago) so to my surprise when I arrive I requested nachos I will sadly told that they did not have those on the menu. So instead we order the chili cheese fries which were mediocre. The cheese is definitely from a can no extra razzle dazzle just plain cheese, the chili was more a pork and beans not so much chili meat , and then there was a dash of shredded cheese on top. The fries were more of a thick cut, with no salt. And then we had the hot dog Burger, which also included, chili (pork n beans) on the inside along with other stuff (see picture) . If it wasn't for our server Roxanne being very attentive, in the food being ready extremely fast we would have given this restaurant 2 stars . This is just my opinion, others may like this type of food quick thrown together food , however it was not to my satisfaction. But don't get me wrong, it was cheap about $18 total, quick service, any pretty cool clean...

I have never been here and was born and raised in the EL Paso. I finally had their cheeseburger and brought my fiance from California here along with my aunt. When we arrived, we were not greeted, the waitresses were busy and continued to pass us by while we just stood there. We stood there long enough for me to say: "maybe we should just go to Chico's Tacos?" It became rude. I was annoyed and ready to leave, until the kind owner greeted us and said we could sit wherever we please. That would have been nice to know considering all the waitresses that passed us by and ignored us. I ordered the cheeseburger and I was under whelmed, the green sauce they had was amazing! The meat was good too, the bun was nice, I mean it was okay. Just not the hype it had for the longest time. We still tipped our waitress and were served pretty fast and kicked out pretty fast too. They closed at 7 and we showed up around 6:30 so yeah they made it very uncomfortable and clear that they were closing. I'll never return. CHICO'S...
