2/15/21. I understand that with this pandemic and new rules the city has put in place for business it can be difficult, but this is the third time in a row my favorite place has let me down. I called in an order for pick up. ordered scrambled eggs with picadillo, my husbands usual. and I ordered pancakes and hashbrowns. I arrived took a few minutes for any acknowledgement. it's okay they are busy. when attended to the lady asked if I was going to place an order, I said no I'm here to pick up and if I can add a small menudo . you didn't order that did you. I said no I want to add it. well she said it will be awhile for menudo because she had other orders in front . um okay..... I guess it's takes a while to pour something that's already made in a cup... so any way i waited... then went out side and waited more . then went back inside and waited more. she proceeded the put my plate in bags... the cook was just standing there, I guess waiting for orders. then she tell me it's almost ready we just need the picadillo plate.... well I guess they forget about it because he started making the plate... ugh.so went back outside to wait. finally arrived home to eat... pancakes really really raw. hashbrowns had no salt no pepper. just tasted like raw potatoes. barely had butter. picadillo plate was made with bell peppers not jalapenos. totally different taste. no salsa no butter oh and at the counter there is a table across the front. it looks like a dirty break room. had purses, jackets, hand cream, looked like back packs. Buy these employees some lockers gees. it made the place look tacky, dirty and cluttered. I know were in the hood...
Read moreWas not a good experience. Placed a call for a take out order. The call was answered but was asked if I could wait for a bit. That in itself was not a problem. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that I was left in the phone hanging. All the while the lady kept ringing up customers amd I was placed on forgotten list. I remained patient through approximately 6 transactions and finally hung up.. I tried calling back the phone was busy. I am a regular customer at Jaime 's. The food is excellent. My mom wanted their Menudo so I proceeded to trek up there. I arrived ordered my Menudo. Mentioned what had happened over the phone. Although the cashier apologized, it did not phase her. The apology was delivered with a sense of indifference. Folks, please bear in mind that many businesses are lamentably going out of business in our current Pandemic climate. Step up and appreciate those customers that give you their business and treat them as if they truly matter. Good customer service is essential to keep your business viable. Mull that fact for a bit. I used to love coming here before pandemic, me and my boyfriend showed up at 9:20 to take some food to go when we walked in, lady had told us they were closed then moved on to say only to go’s were available. Mind you we checked hours before arrival which closing time was 10, we had time. As we were waiting for our order to be taken and to be helped out a male cook/employee throws out his hands asking what we want and their closed, We tell him the lady had just mentioned to us that we can still order to go, he goes on in a extreme rude manner and says “ ok so then what do you want ??? “ this was happening across the restaurant, while customers were dining in.
