Los Colegas — Restaurant in El Paso

Service blows. Took 20 minutes for a server to come over so we could order our drinks. We tried getting their attention but they would just look away and walk by us quickly. The people next to us had to tell them that we had been waiting and were trying to get their attention. Servers standing at the end of the bar all conversing with each other while our table and a few others waited. Finally was helped and we ordered raw oysters as an appetizer. Oysters were very warm and tasted bad. It’s my fault there for thinking we can get somewhat fresh oysters in EP. We literally left them all there minus one that I spat back out. Let the server know that they tasted bad but she just took them away. Shrimp cocktail is decent, beer was nice and cold. Fried shrimp had no flavor and fries were soggy (undercooked). This is by far the worst location I have ever visited. I went in on Monday around 5:19 PM, sat down at a table, and waited patiently to be acknowledged. Nobody ever did.

A guy who worked there came out from the back, stood by the bar, and stayed glued to his phone. He didn’t say a word, didn’t even look our way—just ignored us completely. Then a woman came out from the back, walked straight through another door, and also didn’t acknowledge us at all. Not a glance, not a “hello,” absolutely nothing.

My friend even called out to the guy at the bar multiple times—he blatantly ignored us and stayed on his phone like we didn’t exist.

Honestly, this was some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I strongly urge the owner to check the cameras from that evening and see firsthand how their staff treats paying customers—because it’s absolutely unacceptable.

I will never step foot in this location again, and I will definitely not be recommending it to anyone. Total...

I'm gonna give this place a 5!!! Food is always good as long as you avoid some of the seafood. I know how that sounds funny, but wait, lol. I have lived on the coast for four years, so I know not to order seafood in a desert. However, I do love the shrimp cocktails here they are bangin fire!! Service is on point. The wait staff is always asking if everything is OK. Alcohol prices are good. Get that big beer wink wink. The best banger is they offer a veterans discount! I got mad respect for businesses that do this. This is where I will take my family if I'm feeling lazy and don't want to cook.(im a chef as well). I dont care if the military discount is just off of my meal, it's good with me.
