La Gordibuena Edgemere — Restaurant in El Paso

Horrible experience. It used to be my go to placebut now i will not be coming back. I waited 25 minutes in line just for the guy that is in the front to start taking my orders. He kept getting down all the phone orders and helping the lady "label" the gorditas instead of helping the ppl who were in line. No sense of urgency. They also have only one lady in the front preparing the orders from doordash, phone and in person. They will take forever to have it ready. I decided to give it a second chance a few weeks after; I placed the order over the phone and we ordered 12 gorditas for some friends and ourselves and the same guy did not label any of the gorditas. It was fustrating having to open them all up to figure out which ones where ours and which ones were our friends. I also order one specifically for my toddler because they were all spicy, and it was missing. Very upsetting, my husband came home and we realized her food was missing. Worst customer service!!!! I recently went on Saturday and it was the biggest mistake! Food is terrible and customer service is bad. I walk in and ask the girls if they still had Barbacoa and she just looked at me and didn’t say a word she just looked at me in a weird stare and nodded her head and I as i was walking back I heard them talking about me. So then we order and get our food and my sister and I ordered a Gordita de barbacoa and it was horrible, the barbacoa had no flavor and the tortilla WAS HORRIBLE it didn’t even taste like a tortilla it tasted like pancake batter. My sister ordered a horchata and she received it warm with no ice. My mom ordered a papas con queso gordita and it was so spicy she couldn’t enjoy it. I went in to this location on a late lunch break and was immediately turned off by the customer service. The girl was taking my order while laughing and goofing off with the other employees. Made me feel unimportant, uncomfortable, and made me wonder if my order would be correct. I was never welcomed or thanked either. I was greeted with “que gustaaaaa” and when my order was ready “hay estan las gorditas” de muy mala manera. No vuelvo. Las air vents are full of dust and look like they haven’t been cleaned in MONTHS. I’m afraid of dust lint falling on my food. Not to mention it is HOOOOT IN HERE. It’s at least 80-85 degrees inside and they know it because they have a fan for themselves at the register but none for dine in customers!
