Los Traviesos — Restaurant in El Paso

Where are you people's taste buds!? I blame everyone who posted a review for this food truck that led me to try them. The quesabirrias were $30! And they were mediocre at best! Who does this guy think he is charging that much for an ok quesabirrias plate. This ain't Los Angeles or New York and if it was those cities, the food would at least be extraordinary! So disappointing. I'm never going back. The tacos were ok not bad, but definitely not worth $30! For $30! I expect mouth watering type food! Someone said top 3 quesabirrias in El Paso!? I can't imagine the other 3 spots y'all have tried. What I can say though is that I bet you the other "top 3" spots won't charge no $30! For a subpar quesabirria plate! I am still on the hunt for the best quesabirrias in El Paso. And El travieso, without finding the top 10 quesabirrias yet in El Paso. I can tell you that El Travieso ranks #20. I bet you I can find a home cook that can make better quesabirrias then this. I am the birria master. I've tried the best birria, even though it was goat. Which is what it should be. It was in L.A and in Juarez. Oh and I got a corn in a cup too. That was the worst. The corn was all hard! One of the worst experiences ever! When it comes to a food truck. That's definitely top 3 of worst experiences. The owner was nice. I will say that, but other then that. What a dud. Don't believe the hype, that these other reviews say. You have to understand some people have never really tried food that's orgasmic. I mean the meat was ok they're are not bad, but not worth no $30. To me it's all about the consome. The consome has to be bursting with flavor. I can get birria from that spot in Juarez where the birria tasted really good and make some quesabirrias at home and they will taste way better. That's all I'm saying. Trust me, I wouldn't of mind paying $30; for any food plate, but every bite has to be a religious experience. I've paid $60 for plates before. And I've never forgot that spot nor has my tongue forgotten...

Los Traviesos has great seafood tacos. They taste nice and not too fishy 🐟 I don't know about the other products, but they might be delicious, too. I requested 4 tacos instead of 6. That's because I now know that I would not have finished them all. Despite being tasty food, I would not have been able to handle 6 individual fish tacos. I like the vegetables that it came topped with. Along with the vegetables, it came with one singular fruit portion on the side for optional topping (lime). The music being played outside was nice and I enjoyed it. I don't know if it was coming from Los Traviesos. Los Traviesos is a great option if one is in the mood for fish tacos. Got the worst food poisoning. I am a night shift nurse and this was the 1st thing I ate when I woke up before going to work at 7pm. By 8pm had the worst stomach ache and diarrhea...by midnight I was vomiting profusely. I work in a highly specialized area so there wasnt anyone with the same training to relieve me .....do not eat here if you have things to do or are going to work 😭 ended up getting some fluids in the ER before...
