This is an old school style burger joint that welcomes one and all. It's rather small, but comfy. It reminds me of, one of those original diner's, that were typically open 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. Where you can grab a stool seat, right in front of the cook & griddle, and watch as he cooks your order from scratch. The place is not good looking, but they make-up for it with the quality of the food. They serve a burger combo that comes with fries and a drink for 10 bucks, not necessarily the best deal in town, but you can bet your bottom dollar, they are much better than the local McDonald's or Burger King. (Which offers the same deal.) The beef burger patty actually fills the bun, add in some fresh lettuce, tomatoes & onions, some homemade fries, add a little bit of spice with their homemade jalapeno salsa, and a cold beverage, to wash it all down. Papa Eric's Burger, is much better than those drive through restaurants, better taste, better quality, and so satisfying. I recommend to avoid the "busy hours" since the capacity is limited. Overall, Papa Eric's is a good & tasty value for your money, and helps out your local...
Read moreI used to love this place a few years ago, but always, ALWAYS that I go and there's an older dark lady with short hair like Dora The Explorer, I get disappointed and leave unhappy! She thinks she's all of that because her son owns the place. This lady told me and my husband as soon as we had a seat, to move to a smaller table because she needed that table for her "large parties." It was during my lunch break which is an hour, it was past 2pm. It was dead. We moved tables without hesitation. The other tables are much smaller and are literally on the way of the front door and the restroom. A few minutes later, two males walk in and sit down on the same table we were moved from and she doesn't tell them anything, at all. She happily took their order without making them sit elsewhere. Tell me, how would that make you feel? She should worry instead about replacing the tables, chairs, and even remodeling the inside of the place. Maybe even the outside. Hardly ever any parking outside. Place looks older than her! And she needs to work on her attitude,...
Read moreDisappointed quite frankly. :( the past few times I've gone to papa eric's, I noticed the patty was not as delicious as always, well after inspecting my patty (yes I inspected it) i found the diced onion was not cooked IN the patty, which is what I believe has always given these burgers their special teste and which had outshined all other locally owned burgers joints (IN MY OPINION). Anyway, I notice some grilled onions but just on the burger NOT in it. Also a bit disappointed because I have tried to order on the phone several times to pick up and have not been able to get through, even after the recording says to hold and that they will be right you, and that our food is important to them! but then the call is hung up! Go figure. I just hope they go back to cooking the patty with the diced...
