Wendy's — Restaurant in El Reno

Decided to stop at the El Reno Wendy’s and eat, had been traveling for several hours and promised ourselves we wouldn’t stop at the Yukon Garth brooks location again after cold fries, dry burgers, buns that crunched, and repeated mistakes the last several trips. We decided a newer location would be the plan. When we arrived, there were multiple vehicles in the drive thru, probably 6-7 ahead of us....the lady in front of us ordering didn’t have a clue what they served then proceeded to have a 3 minute chat about the recent weather after ordering with the order taker. When we finally got to the microphone to order, the person taking the order didn’t repeat the order or offer a total. This is always a issue with me because it almost always ends in a mistake on my order. So when we got to the first window to pay, I asked her to repeat the order, and of course it was wrong. So she modified it.. then we went to the 2nd window, I asked did they make the Dave’s double correctly? -with mustard only, no veggies? ....NO, they hadn’t and then wanted us to pull to the side ( because we couldn’t pull forward - there was already someone there ) , but wait we haven’t gotten our frosties on the order yet either....they made the Frosties and we pulled to the side and waited, and waited. After waiting 12 minutes on the side and watching 6 more vehicles complete their transaction and leave, I got out of the vehicle and stood in the line of sight of the guy doing the window with both my arms up in the air....he held up a finger and finished what he was doing with that vehicle then stepped out the side door....are you waiting on food? He asked. I Kinda wanted to have a screaming fit right then and there but I stayed calm .....my reply - yes the Dave’s double with mustard only you said would be right out...at this point 15 minutes ago...and he said I’ll get it right out ( of course we had already heard that once ) this time he delivered and my husband finally had something to eat....26 minutes after entering the drive through line...7:33-7:59 and we still had hours to drive home. So it may be me, next time someone says to pull forward or pull to the side, for something that is a core menu item that I know every car behind me ordered as well ...in one fashion or the other, and I say, Nope, I’m waiting right here - and now when it happens,...

Terrible customer service!! What should have been a simple transaction became an extremely awful experience as a result of the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior of Wendy’s employees. Upon arriving at the drive through, I was repeatedly asked to wait to place my order for a lengthy period of time. Finally, after having patiently waited I inquired if I could place my order or if I should go to a different restaurant. At which point, two Wendy’s employees came on at the same time in an amused tone to take my order. Upon placing my order, I was directed to the second window to pay and pickup my food. In what I am certain was meant to be entertainment for his co-workers the young man at the window proceeded to do an impersonation of something similar to the character ‘Borat’ with comments: “For you, the straw is free tonight”; “For you, your total is only $$$ tonight”; etc.

As it was after 9:00pm when I placed the order, I would anticipate the Wendy’s employees (high school and/or college age) were bored and simply having what they believed to be fun by goofing/messing around with customers. However, as I still had more than 1.5 hours to drive, and was greatly delayed by their unprofessional behavior, such customer service...

‼️DO NOT GO TO THIS WENDY’s!‼️ Bad food, Unprofessional Employees, Nasty restrooms.

If I could give ZERO stars I would!❌

The cashier is slow and wasn’t very friendly. There’s also always a male employee just standing behind the counter staring at everyone, we’ve NEVER seen him move from that spot or do anything at all! Super Creepy vibes coming from him too.

The women’s bathroom is ALWAYS super gross, thank goodness I take a travel antibacterial spray with me so I could clean the toilet seat off this time.🤢 There was toilet paper everywhere, big smears on the mirror, the sink was dirty, the trash was overflowing and old soap was dried to the floor. It looked as if this restroom hadn’t been cleaned all week..😑

Fermented ketchup that tasted like beer.

It was hotter inside the building, than outside in 100°+ heat! We’re assuming that their AC went out? Could atleast warn people with some signs before they walk directly into hell.🔥
