Hungry Hobo Sub's — Restaurant in Eldridge

WARNING! If you're going to order more than one or two things go some where else! Left there missing the side item to a kids meal, a drink, then they gave us the wrong kind of drink for the ONE they did give us (Sierra mist and tea are so much alike ya know!). They also forgot to add part of our order causing 2 transactions & they shoved everything into one bag crushing everything in there. Called to complain and all I get is "I'll make sure it doesn't happen again." Please! It's obvious this particular Hungry Hobo is more about drawing cute little sponge bob pictures than JUST DOING THEIR JOB! My bad if I expected going somewhere and leaving with what I paid for but hey if there's a chance the next customer is happy (doubt it!) that I'll eat the $'s spent AND NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! So annoying! Please take some consideration for others and actually provide a service and product you offer and...

As always, the food was very good (much better option than Subway). The employees are always very friendly. The best part about this Hungry Hobo is the very generous owner who really cares about his community. Because of the welcoming atmosphere he has created within his restaurant, not only will I continue to be a loyal customer, but I will share my experience here with the many families in this community I am connected to. Went to hungry hobo in Eldridge today. Waited a half hour in line to order my food. Ordered a 16 with extra 1000 island dressing. Cheese curds combo pack. I paid and had to go back to work. Once back at work I realized that my order was wrong. My sandwich had no dressing on it and I hot fries instead of the curds. When I called I spoke to a bryce and was told unless I could come back right then there was nothing that he could do for me. Kind of disappointed that I spent $15 dollars on a meal that was totally wrong. This has me double thinking about where to go to lunch...
