UPDATE TO MY REVIEW BELOW Order for a bday cake-July 2024 NEW OWNERS!!!

Agree with other Reviewer about her son's cake!

DISAPPOINTED WITH NEW OWNERS!! Just like the other Reviewer, The cake tasted good. The frosting tasted good. THE DECORATION WAS ZERO. THEY LITERALLY DID NOT DECORATE THE CAKE AT ALL!!

When I asked the young girl said," well you didn't ask for it to be decorated"... I just looked at her stunned...ummm that's a given!!!!!!!!

My cake was supposed to have strawberries and custard filling. It had strawberry gel. NO actual REAL strawberries! However, the cake and the frosting did taste good. (Marble)

My cake was also not ready on time. My husband's name is Dave and they wrote DAN

If you want to give them a chance, I suggest physically going in. Do NOT do it over the phone to order a cake. The taste will probably be okay. How ever prepared to be disappointed with the decoration unless you are very clear.

The woman in the back fixed my husband's name and she was kind about it. The young girl in the storefront really needs to be retrained.

NEW OWNERS OF HERBS BAKERY YOU HAVE TO DECORATE PEOPLE'S CAKES YOU CAN'T LEAVE IT PLAIN, ADD A BORDER AND THAT'S IT AND EXPECT PEOPLE TO BE HAPPY THEY DON'T COME TO A BAKERY FOR THAT KIND OF CAKE FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION. Well Herb's Bakery did it to me again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yet again they made fantastic cakes and caused me to over indulge!!! Ordered 2 cakes. Celebrated a 98th bday (marble cake, chocolate mousse, and chocolate frosting (as suggested by the young man that helped me) and a baby boy - baby shower (yellow cake/fresh strawberry filling) Not only where the cakes BEYOND DELICIOUS they were magnificently decorated!! one was more beautiful than the other. I LOVE HERB'S BAKERY! if you need a special occasion cake GO TO HERB'S NO WHERE ELSE!! heck if you need cookies, donuts, bread go to Herb's!!!! My order...

Herbs bakery really gets a zero star rating from me. My wife and I ordered a custom-made baby shower booty cake For our first grandson’s baby shower. Today Is Sunday, February 16 the day of the baby shower, and I have no cake. We went to the bakery yesterday which was Saturday to pick up the cake and we were told it wasn’t ready and that there was a mixup with the date to pick the cake up. they told us they could have the cake ready for us tomorrow, which would be Sunday, which happens to be today. We told them we weren’t happy. It wasn’t ready but would be fine if it was ready by 9 AM on Sunday. They agreed and said yes it would be. Got up in the morning went to church was super excited to go pick up this wonderful, beautiful cake that we were gonna have custom-made and designed for our first grandson‘s baby shower, got to Herb‘s bakery at 9 AM And they were not open. Called the phone number kept getting a voicemail, left two or three messages for them my wife also called and left two or three messages for them. The shower is today at 11 o’clock and I have no cake. We gave him a deposit and basically I feel they stole my money and ruined the entire day for my daughter and my wife and my family. NEVER use Herbs Bakery!!!!! Worst place worst business worst bakery they will ruin...

Our family has been ordering cakes from Herb’s for 25 years. I now live in Arizona but wanted to order a carrot cake from the same bakery we always use and my local family still uses. How disappointed we were. The cake was supposed to be ready at 2pm and I had family pick it up since I would not be in town until the next day. They showed up on time only to be told it was not ready. WHAT? I ordered it a week in advance! So they had to come back about 90 minutes later. The decorating looked childish and very rushed. When we cut into it and took our first bites. -another disappointment that is was not carrot cake but spice cake. The frosting was hard and so thick it was actually disgusting and we could not eat it. The next morning I called the bakery to speak with the manager but was told he had just left but we will call him and have him call you shortly. Another disappointment as that was now 4 days ago and no return phone call. I was not looking for a refund , I just wanted to know what had happened. This was a surprise cake for my family and what a surprise it was in a terrible way. I was so embarrassed!! Just wanted to speak to the manger and have them take some accountability for their actions. Unfortunately, will not be going back or recommend this bakery...
