First off this dairy queen locations been around for as long as I can remember and has always been a nice spot on a hot day to cool down. My girlfriend I are visiting my mother for the week and she loves the oreo cookie cakes there so we thought we would surprise her with this gem of a gift. We originally were going to go to the one in tyler creek plaza because it's closer to her residence but even though the hours posted said they would be open till 10 the shop was closed/lights off and no one in site. Which was weird because we got there around 8:45ish. We were not the only ones disappointed as well since two cars pulled up approached the building and walked away unsatisfied. Determined we phoned ahead to make sure this location was open and indeed it was. So we hoped back in the car and made the trek to the east side and was NOT disappointed upon arrival. The cake was made up in under 3 minutes, the lady that served us was so polite and patient with us as we decided what size what to write and even informed us before we ordered the cake of the pricing. Keep up the good work guys! Disclaimer: Please dont get offended by what was wrote on the cake, it's a nickname lovingly given and not ment to be derogatory...

My wife and I went to Dairy Queen today to buy ice cream, and we ended up getting scammed by one of the employees. The worker at the drive-thru took my wife's debit card information without permission and later made an unauthorized purchase of $966 using her card. This is absolutely unacceptable!
We trusted this location for a simple treat, and instead, we became victims of fraud. We have already taken steps to report this incident to our bank, but we want to warn others to be extremely careful when handing over their cards at this Dairy Queen.
We are also reaching out to management and corporate to demand accountability. This kind of behavior should never happen at any business!
Be careful and check your statements if you've recently visited...
Read moreI wish this allowed me to do negative stars. There should be an adult or manager working along side the teens. This visit was an absolute nightmare! Long line in drive thru so I got out to order at the window. There were 3 teenagers at the window goofing off, I believe getting free items from their friend working the window. The young girl was more interested in looking cool and goofing off than taking care of customers. I heard her tell the kids in front of me that she didn't know how to make an item they requested so she suggested something she knew how to make. When I got to the window the 1st 2 items I ordered she said they didn't have them, hmm Blizzard of the month. I didn't even bother ordering anything else so I left. If this was my business I would not have 3 teens working...
