Captain D's — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

I ordered over $20 worth of food got up to the window and was informed that I get three little sauces or I have to pay for them that should be told to us from the beginning so we're prepared to hear it that it's not been a problem in the past and it was just the whole attitude and the way it was handled it was wrong when a person is spending $20 on food and the sauces are actually in the store is that like they weren't available for someone to tell you at the window that you're only allowed three sauces you're getting three different type of food groups that take three different types of sauces that's ridiculous of course I left the window and did not make my purchase I've never done that before I don't think they really care it bothers me...

Please Captain D’s management in Elizabeth City,NC on N Road street emphasize to staff to wash hands after use from bathroom break.

I came to order(dine in) lunch…but I went to bathroom first and someone came in and used bathroom(urinated) then left without hand washing.. I thought it was a customer but no I left right behind that person who went to the back( of kitchen)… so that individual didn’t wash hands ( unsanitary)…

Today is October 04,2023 and it was 1350 hrs that I can say this occurred….

So of course I got back in car and drove elsewhere to eat lunch.

Got coupons in the mail. Luckily we looked it up on line, because the address it gives on the coupon isn't the address any more. It moved. The people are nice, not great, but nice. Food was good, fries were cool, not fresh made. We got the 2, three fish dish came with Cole slaw (great, n crispy) hush puppies (good) fries (cool not fresh) n 3 classic fish (good, crispy, fresh) All in all, good meal, good price for what you got. Paid $1.99, to add 5 butterfly shrimp (good). Will come back. They have a great senior prices for seniors, Wednesday and Fridays, I think those...
