Every Saturday they are serving up some of the most delicious Tamales I have ever had!

Let's start with their traditional pork style (red ones). These are seasoned to perfection, have a nice bite with some spice and are as juicy as can be. No skimping out on the meat either. The ratio to masa and meat is PERFECT.

The other ones here, the green chille & chicken (green ones). These are hands down my favorite and the best Tamales that I have ever had. Again, like their counter part, they are Juicy, seasoned well and portioned perfectly.

I'll be honest and say the front of the store doesnt have much to offer but never judge a book by its cover.

Once you step in and smell the Pan dulce (mexican bread), you'll know you made the right decision.

Make sure you stop on in anytime for Pan Dulce or Saturday for Tamales you...

This panaderia is so amaing, being away from home and not having access to my mexican supply goods to cook and eat was very challenging. Yet, their presence here in Elizabeth City is honestly amazing, I plan to continue going there while I live here. The pan dulce, los taocs que sriven en los Sabados y Domingo, y las personas, are the reason I will be going back....

I hate giving this place a bad review but we bought bread with roaches cooked into it. This is the bread they sell el parian btw. It's just dirty and the food is old. Sometimes it's fresh but mostly not. It's the roach bread and the owner being involved with questionable people that gives this...
