Mi Colombia Restaurant — Restaurant in Elizabeth

Service is really good and I can't complaint about that. But the food this time wasn't as good as before; to be honest I only tried the bandera paisa and some days the lunch specials and they're good. But tonight I ordered a big toston with some lettuce and meat on top, I ordered the mixed meat which was carne pollo and chicharron, and when it came out after almost 20+ minutes, it was totally different than the pic on the menu, it was only toston with all the mixed meat on top, and it had too much oil, no lettuce, nothing!! like really plain for a plate that costs almost $10, I was expecting something better, anyway that wasn't the only thing, it wasn't good either; however the reason that got me upset and why I'm posting this review is that when I asked for the lettuce that was showing the pic on the menu, they said the plates not ways are like the menu shows, so if you're not Colombian and want to 'try' something, don't believe on what you see...

The tables were dirty. The waitress was either an emotionless robot or a sleep walker. I ordered empanadas. The waitress left to walk to the kitchen without taking my wife’s order, let alone an explanation or even a word. She returned with my empanadas then took my wife’s order. This is not proper order-taking protocol. The empanadas were cool, not warm with an inadequate amount amount of hot sauce served in mini take-out cups. My wife ordered shrimp cocktail. Every restaurant I’ve been to serves them hanging on the edge of a cocktail glass filled with cocktail sauce. Not here. There was one shrimp hanging on the edge and the others were buried inside the glass of salsa. Yes, salsa. Not cocktail sauce. Terrible. A Google User just now I agree, today I went with my very significant and we had a really bad time. The waitress did not give a a detailed about if the special of the day rice soup, which meat it had I had to ask. Then when my partner went to the restroom Angelica said critical comments by standing by me but not looking at me. She is so rude that we did not give her any tip plus she did not give my hubby back the wallet and we came back for the wallet and none of them apologize.
