The food here is about the quality of mall food court food. The only thing they have going for them is they are fast and you get a ton of food.
The dumplings and spring rolls are greasy. The teriyaki chicken is dry, over cooked and flavorless. The beef is rubbery and weird. The sauce they use is kinda sweet and mildly salty but lacks depth. The "vegetables" are 90% cabbage of some sort with a little bit of carrot and green beans.
I was not brave enough to try the sushi though a coworker told me it was worse than supermarket sushi.
The parking lot at this location is horrendous. Good luck finding a spot. You'll find yourself circling a lot filled with other cars doing the same and fighting for a place to park all while navigating around tons of pedestrians milling about the lot and using it as a cut through.
Overall, not worth the effort to go unless you are tired of the usual. A short drive out of Elizabeth can get you some...
Read moreThe cashier seemed a bit annoyed and grouchy. It was our first time there. When we weren't sure how to order they harshly pointed to a sign ,with a stick, pasted to the counter in front the cashier, "This is the type of rice we have there! there! there!" Service =0. Food was bland quite tasteless I had to use Chic-fil-a sauce to make the shrimp tempura taste better. It was oily and soggy. Concerning bland rice= try a bit of oyster sauce in there. Beef smelled fresh try a bit of lemon/lime juice. No it didn't taste good either.
If you pass in MD try Johnny Sushi in Perryville then eat at Sarku Elizabeth. At that point you will see how horrible their food is in comparison. If their food was good I would have just ate it and no review. But bad service and bad food deserves a review.
There were more rude situations than a simple pointing of the stick. That was one example....
Read moreI have been going to this place for 10 years, since i was 5/6. I’m 16 now, and ever since my uncle first took me, I’ve loved it. From the extremely quick service times, to just how great the food is, and the affordability of it all, you’d be hard pressed to find something better.
Noodles are never dry, rice is always great, chicken and the sauce on top of it is incredible. There’s always a great balance between your choice of chicken/shrimp/beef, veggies, and noodles/rice. I have absolutely no complaints
On my most recent visit one of the employees even helped close, bag my food, and give me cutlery and napkins. Top tier service, amicable employees, everything.
I felt it was only just that I write a review after so long, but to conclude; this is an incredible restaurant. Truly the best.
