It's a small, unassuming spot. You place your order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. The young lady at the counter was very nice, courteous, and patient. She made our cafe con leches perfect. The foam on top was beautiful. It was so good I drank the whole thing (and I'm lactose intolerant). 😆 They don't have dairy substitutes, so I was glad I had some lactaid pills. Lol. We had the pastries with the Guayaba y queso. That has to be the most delicious pastry I've had in a long time. Flaky, light, and buttery with the perfect amount of Guayaba and cheese. Omg don't miss these pastries. We were there early in the morning, so not everything on the menu was available, but what we had was so good. Their Cuban sandwich is amazing, from that bread that my husband swears is genuine "...just like in Cuba." to the roasted pork, ham, and delicious mustard and pickles. He is Cuban, and he loved it! I have to say that bread does elevate that sandwich to the next level. The steak sandwich is good too, but I think the star is the Cuban sandwich. Their croquettas were crispy and well seasoned. We will come back and try everything. I've read reviews calling this place a gem, and it truly is. Great Cuban food and great service.

If you like Latin American cuisine or have wanted to try it but did not know where to start, Cubano Bros is the place. My husband and I discovered this little Gem after our trip to Key West a year ago. We tried Cuban sandwiches at Sandee’s Cafe during our trip and loved it. We came back and missed our Media Noche sandwiches so my husband was determined to find something comparable back home. We tried one but it was just okay and then, we tried Cubano Bros. Let me start with the food, always fresh and delicious. The menu is limited which makes sense to me. You can eat there or get it to go. You won’t be disappointed. We go there every Saturday. Initially we were going two times a week but decided to limit it to Saturday only. Did I mention how above and beyond the Girls are at the Register and how they bring your takeout out to your table while you wait, or how clean they maintain the place. Yes! It is our favorite go to for CUBAN FOOD! I recommend EVERYTHING ON THE MENU most especially the Ropa Vieja bowl. Did I mention they bake their bread fresh daily and their guava pastries are incredible! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t regret it!

So glad that there is an authentic Cuban in this area. It saves a trip to the city. We ordered a lechon (pictured) and Cubano sandwiches. Along with plátano maduros, tostones (pictured), and a cafe con leche. OMG! The sandwiches are tasty and oh so delicious! How so? The meats are seasoned and nicely marinated!! Thank goodness that the taste is not bland! The tostones come with a side of garlic aioli (pictured)! The combo is so delicious! Plus, they’re crispy and not sliced banana chips as you would get from other restaurants. They’re actually patties of bananas! 😋🤤 As for the coffee, it’s one size and oh so good! The coffee brand they use is Bustelo which is my favorite!! It’s strong and flavorful. The restaurant is cleaned and small. But you know that small size space restaurants are mostly serving the best food!! There’s a paro lot so no need to find parking like you would in the city (Chicago). You will not be disappointed! Enjoy!! ☺️

It looked kinda closed, the signs were off but luckily it was open. This was my first time here. The restaurant area is clean and a bit spartan, but I think that's good, I like clean. The prices are competitive, and they made my food in about 5 minutes. The woman working the counter was both friendly and efficient. The food is really good, I will be back and probably often. I bought Tostones, a Cuban Breakfast Sandwich, Cafe con Leche, and the Lechon Asado Cubano bowl. I can't wait to see what my wife thinks of the lechon as she is Filipino. I find it all very good. I've never been to Cuba but I had friends that were raised in Cuba and were living in Miami & Puerto Rico and they took me to what they considered authentic Cuban restaurants in Miami. While the black beans/rice is good here, I have had better but these black beans/rice are better than most. The cubano sandwich is top rate. The bread is fresh and the lechon has a really nice flavor. Cafe con Leche was good and the tostones are really good. The tostones dressing/sauce is a nice touch and keeps them from being too dry and also adds a nice tangy flavor. It settles quick but I could easily snap the lid back on a give it a shake. All in all it was really good. To sum up, I thought the cubano egg sandwich was the highlight but enjoyed the rest of the meal...

I really liked the Cuban sandwich I ate from this local restaurant in Elk Grove. I am just really glad that I decided to stop by here for a while, or else I would not have known about this lovely spot. It is basically a small spot with a few tables and seats inside. It is clean, and the ambiance is pretty nice. Their menu does not have a variety of options as it was just an option for breakfast, sandwiches, some sides and beverages. I went here in the afternoon, and by that time, the restaurant would be closing soon. I wanted to try their El Cubano, which is basically the Cuban sandwich they have, so that is what I ordered, as well as an order of plantains. The service was quick, and the staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The El Cubano sandwich has a huge portion. It looks really clean when it is served, like very clean, because there are sandwiches that really look a little messy when they are served, but their El Cubano is different. It also got a generous portion of meat. At first bite, it really tastes divine. It was so delicious. It tastes really fresh too. Their bread is also freshly baked daily, and I definitely believe it. I really like the sandwich. The plantains, on the other hand, tasted good too, but they were a bit...
