Izucar Bakery — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I’ve been visiting Izukar bakery out of convenience since it’s just around the corner, but I can no longer overlook the disappointing experiences I’ve had there. Time and again, I’ve purchased bread that is old and stale, and it’s incredibly frustrating to pay for products that should not even be on the shelves. It’s as if there's no effort to maintain quality — nothing ever surprises or inspires.

What’s worse is their pricing. I often feel like I'm being overcharged for subpar items, nothing has a price tag so you dont know what you’re paying for which doesn’t sit well with me. It’s alarming that this bakery has had bad reviews for over five years, yet they seem to do nothing to improve their offerings or customer service. It’s clear that they do not value their customers or their reputation in the community.

If you’re considering this bakery, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Your taste buds (and wallet) will thank you. It’s a shame that a local business like this doesn’t care enough about the quality...

Wow wow wow... This beautiful little gem in Rolling Meadows made me the most beautiful and yummiest fondant cake I've ever had! Super moist and not too sweet. Just perfect. It was a chocolate cake shaped as a stack of books of my daughters favorite reads! It looked like a food network's Cake Wars winner!! Just too beautiful to eat!! I used to recommend this place but I won’t anymore! They honestly do not care about their clients. I bought a cake last year and the cake was stale with a bad taste. We mention it to the owner and she said next time if something like that happen to let them know. The second incident was recently over the weekend for Father’s Day. We bought a cake and it had an overpowering taste of alcohol. That cake went to waste because everyone just threw it to the garbage. It even made my nephew and myself sick have an upset stomach.
