Messes up orders and when you try to ask them to correct it, they are completely rude and make it difficult to do so.
I encountered a very rude woman as the cashier. She messed up my order and when I called last night, a man answered and said he’s very sorry that the woman probably took the order wrong. He said they were closing and that he would write down my name and my order so that I can have a credit.
When I called the next morning, and explained the situation the woman was reluctant and dismissive. She put the phone down to ask someone if it was okay and she was attending other customers. I didn’t know whether she was talking to me or another person and then hung up.
When I called back she said “I already told you, fine it’s fine, do you need anything else?” “No okay” and hung up on me several times when I was trying to explain to her that I was sending someone to pick up the torta since I was at home with my toddler.
Needless to say I will NOT be ever ordering from here again and it’s too bad because it’s a local place that I would have wanted to...
Read moreAs I really love both tacos and "tortas" and I have eaten some really good ones before, I am going to be particularly harsh with my rating this time. I was actually undecided on whether to give it two or three stars, but in the end I chose to go with two since I believe the taste is subpar to other places.
What really surprised me was the lack of flavor in both the taco and the "torta." I walked in expecting, at the very least, a small explosion of something good. Whether it'd be the meat, the tortilla, the bread, or even the sauce. Yet, it was all generic. Nothing stood out. Nothing made an impression. Eating the taco was almost exactly the same as eating the "torta." The biggest difference was that one tasted like tortilla and the other tasted of bread. I was so shocked that the tastes of these two dishes were almost indistinguishable.
I would say that if you are in the mood for tacos or "tortas"...

As it is with a big group everyone wanted different things with their own special request no this add that. The girl taking the order at the counter did not miss a beat she had everything exactly how we ordered (I took it and read it myself after she was done). The portions of meat for the tacos was great. I honestly recommend any of their tacos. I had a legua, pastor, and carnitas. My son had a barbacoa burrito (and did not complain about the food once he is usually really picky about his burritos). Great service would recommend this place to anyone will definitely be stopping by when visiting Chicago. Their sliced potatoes were really good. Very authentic like eating...
