Amazing boba tea place!!!

There are so many variety of options and it all tastes amazing! One of my favorite boba places

I found out this place 2 weeks ago from my friend, so relatively new customer here.

1.) The store is extremely clean, and the workers also use the sink in their boba making area to wash their hands before they make drinks. This is something I love, since gloves can get dirty when you keep wearing them for long periods of the day.

2.) The bathroom. The bathroom is very clean! This is a first for me this year. I haven’t eaten out since 2020 but I started eating out again this year. Whenever I went to a gender neutral bathroom at different stores, it stank so much that I couldn’t even wash my hands. I wear a triple layered mask and the scent was that bad. Imagine what a person with no mask would’ve smelled 😭

The bathroom at Ding Tea Rolling Meadows was so clean, didn’t smell at all, and honestly I had to leave this in the review because gosh the bathrooms at other stores are TERRIBLE!

3.) The drinks are delicious! The drinks I’ve had so far are:

[Milk teas] Peach, Strawberry, Passionfruit, Mango

[Yakult] Mango, Strawberry

[Fruit Juice Aloe Vera] Kiwi, Passionfruit, Peach

[Latte] Monster Boba

[Coffee] Condensed Milk Coffee Latte

[Toppings] Egg Pudding, Tiramisu Foam, Popping Boba

[Food] Egg Waffle with Chocolate Drizzle, Lavender and S’mores Macarons

^ All of those drinks and food were delicious!

(Well just one exception of the coffee 😭 I would like to add that the coffee here is very bitter for my taste. I’m a milk coffee lover, and love sweet milk coffee drinks like Starbucks Frappuccinos.

I ordered the condensed milk coffee Latte, expecting a sweet coffee but what I received was bitter :( the Tiramisu foam helped it sweeten a bit but it was still very bitter lol. At least it helped me wake me up. Anyone who likes bitter coffee would like the coffee here)

All the other drinks I’ve had were absolutely delicious! I recommend all, but my favorites here are passion fruit juice and Monster Boba Latte.

The bubble waffles here is so delicious šŸ˜‹ The macarons were delicious too but the shells were a bit hard for my liking.

I wish I could try the Tofu Pudding but they were out 🄹 please restock soon!

You can adjust the sweetness levels for your drinks here which is great! Workers also provide bags for your drink, and is very kind.

Overall amazing store and I will be...

We went here tonight for the grand opening. It wasn't overly busy and we didn't have to wait long at all.

We placed our order at the counter. I figured I would mention this since so many places seem to have screens for ordering now. When our drinks were ready, they called out an order number, but we never received an order number. They looked like our drinks, so I inquired and we received them.

I got the Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea with the signature golden boba. I initially asked for the tiramisu top, which they didn't have yet, and then the cheese top, which they forgot :( (but still charged for). In any case, it was their first night, so no biggie. That said, my drink as configured (size Small) cost nearly $10, so that is pretty hefty!

My husband got the taro slush, which he enjoyed. I likewise enjoyed my Oolong Milk Tea. It had that lightly tannic tea flavor that I wanted. It was sweet, but not cloying. The golden boba tasted like the tapioca I'm used to, but a softer iteration.

The interior design is pleasant. The wings on the wall will be fun for photographs.

They also advertised macarons and mochi ice cream. I had no idea! Maybe we'll try those another time - or maybe one of you can try it and let us know how...

I decided to come here since it was one of the places that closes late. We were the only customers when we walked in. Employee was friendly and she greeted us. Just to clarify, it was only one person doing everything. It seemed like after we ordered, that’s when people started coming in one after the other. Then there was a huge group that came in. The ā€œslow serviceā€ I let it slide since she didn’t know there was going to be an inundation of customers pouring in. You know those clown cars where 20 clowns come out, yeah it seemed like that. I got the lychee milk tea with golden boba and an egg waffle with ice cream. I ordered 50% sugar. The drink itself was decent, not too sweet which I like. I do wish the golden boba was a little less chewy. They also didn’t have the tofu pudding that I wanted. Egg waffle was crispy, warm, and soft. The ice cream was Oreo. Other than that, they had an adequate amount of tables. That’s assuming you don’t have the clown cars with 20 kids coming out of it. Prices were fair. Place was clean when we first walked in, not sure about...
