I recently visited McDonald's and decided to give their burger another try, and I'm so glad I did because it turned out to be one of the highlights of my fast food adventures this year.
The Burger: Taste: The burger was surprisingly juicy and packed with flavor. The beef patty had that classic McDonald's taste but felt like it was made with a bit more care than usual. The balance between the bun, patty, cheese, and toppings was spot on, creating a harmonious bite with every mouthful. Quality: For fast food, the quality was notably high. The patty didn't feel like it was just reheated; it had a fresh-off-the-grill feel to it. The vegetables were crisp, and the bun was soft yet held up well against the juicy patty. Customization: I went with my usual order but noticed that even the simple act of customizing (like adding or removing toppings) seemed to be executed better than in past visits.
Service Experience: Speed: Despite the usual hustle and bustle, my order was prepared quickly without any compromise on quality. This is always a plus when you're looking for a quick meal. Staff: The staff were friendly, making the experience even more pleasant. There was a sense of pride in their work, which is sometimes missing in fast-food chains.
Ambiance: While the ambiance of McDonald's isn't something you go for, the cleanliness and the modern decor in this particular branch made for a more enjoyable dining experience than one might expect.
Value for Money: In terms of value, this burger felt like a steal. For the price, the satisfaction and quality were well above what I've come to expect from fast food. It's not just about filling you up; it's about enjoying what you're eating, and this burger delivered on that front.
Overall Impression: This visit has definitely shifted my perspective on McDonald's. While I wouldn't call it gourmet, for fast food, it was a standout experience. The burger was a testament to what McDonald's can achieve when they get it right - a reminder that even in the fast food world, there's room for quality and satisfaction. If you're in the mood for a burger and are near a McDonald's, give it a shot; you might just be...
Read moreRecently, my family visited this location and we experienced a handful of inconveniences. My daughter ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato and requested for there to be sweetener instead of caramel. She went up and asked for a new drink because she was given a drink with caramel. Her replacement drink was still not what she requested. ~She decided to keep it but then a General manager, who happened to pass by, asked if everything was ok and my husband said, "no" and advised my daughter to say something about her drink. He gladly offered to remake her drink. We appreciated that he remade her drink but it was still not what she was trying to order. She decided to keep it as to not be of anymore trouble. During another visit, my husband ordered a hot coffee. An employee handed him his drink at the counter but the lid somehow came off as the coffee was being given to my husband and it spilled on his hand. On instinct, my husband jolted from the hot coffee on his hand. Neither the employee nor the manager, who witnessed what happened, apologized for the spill. The manager was seated at a table in front of the counter and instead of approaching the situation, she called someone else to offer him napkins. His hand turned pink due to...
Read moreThis burger isn't medium rare, it's raw. Ordered on 10/07/2020 between 5pm/6pm We had to pull around to the side and wait a bit longer than normal, no problem, I'm not a entitled B. But this? I called the store and the manager on duty I simply said "hey, no big deal, whatever trick you guys used to speed up the ticket doesn't work" and the manager decided to get defensive and say "no, there's no trick, this is just an unfortunate event" I went on to ask a question and was cut off mid sentence with "sir, there is no trick"
Anger, yes, but moreso at the lie given to me.
Look, McDonald's is by far the EASIEST food to cook, the ONLY way something like this happens is if they cut corners, period. Everything is exactly the same, everything is on timers, the machines are designed for consistency and DO NOT FAIL unless someone cut a corner or.. Had a "trick" to speed things up.
Call it whatever, a trick, a corner cut, an "unfortunate event"
Keep you and your kids safe from food born illness, specifically the really dangerous food born illnesses in raw beef.
Don't eat at this...
