Harolds Chicken 100 — Restaurant in Elkhart

The food was horrible I ordered a large catfish dinner I believe they are not storing their food properly I became very ill my stomach been messed up since I ate that food yesterday and I only ate 1 piece out of the 4 the fries taste like they were soaked in grease the coleslaw was loaded in black pepper and warm I called them several times yesterday no answer now they don’t open again until Tuesday I spent 25 on that meal with delivery I know it was the meal I didn’t eat before and hell I haven’t eaten anything since because I’m still feeling the effects from that trash Yeah I should’ve listened when I was told it’s not good but trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I grew up eating Harold’s in Chicago please don’t compare yourself to them and y’all should change your name because you are misrepresenting a great brand I will be at your restaurant with that terrible food Tuesday when I get off work

Update 1/23/24 I have been calling place all day only reason I didn’t go to the restaurant is due to bad weather so I’m guessing they maybe closed for the same reason but I refuse to just let this go I’m that...

Not a good representation of Harolds chicken at all!!! Waited 40 mins for re fried chicken that was not steaming hot when I got it (tell me how that works )cooked in old grease and the fries how do you mess up fries

As someone who knows a owner of a Harold’s chicken in Chicago this is no where near the quality I was accustomed to...the chicken was re-fried to death the place had a very bad odor ... there were flies in the lobby with visible food on the floor in the kitchen.... no jar had a lid on it in the kitchen from what I saw ... the door handle to enter was absolutely disgusting and I understand music is good but blasting it full volume is not classy at all... so if In Elkhart and you want Harold’s... don’t go any review over 1 star is a lie or they have never had...

The food was good but if you knew how it was prepared you wouldn't eat there, bullet holes in the window, not to mention management sucks there, he unprofessional, deos not know what he is talking about and most of all when it come to cleaning equipment, he has no clue, this place needs a new manager or to be shutdown. It's one thing being a customer, it's an other thing working there, meat is cook spoiled , fish is cook with plastic still on it, the worst part is that this place has rats, please for the love of god, shut this place down, someone will get sick, plus there is better chicken places that are more cheaper and have freshly made chicken just like harolds, look around for...
