Sweet Cone — Restaurant in Elkhart

We went there after dinner because its super close to us. They didn't have a large menu for ice cream but was more than happy to accommodate us if we waited 10 minutes. We would have but our dog was being too energetic. But she was so nice and explained the special to me even though I said we weren't eating tonight. And im so excited to go back and try it. We got ice cream that they had ready and the kids loved it, generous portion, and they gave us a sample of the pupas I believe it was called. And it was AMAZING! There’s so much I could say about this amazing little shop! The food is amazing!! The prices are very fair!! The owners are incredibly sweet & the most down to earth people. They are kind and giving & they would never turn anyone away if they were a little short on cash. My son was one of those people. He was $2 short one visit & without hesitating, Lorena still gave him his items. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 30 yrs and have known this establishment as Curly Cone etc. It’s come and gone often to my disappointment. The current owners have been here for three years and are trying to provide a great service to the community. I’m happy to report they do. I ordered a taco & malt, both of which were excellent.
