I contacted the manager back on April 16,2021 spoke to mgr about long term residency she told me she only had 6 spots open at that time if I was wanting to get a spot I needed to do so soon due to time of year people would be occupying them quick, so she asked when I was wanting to move in I explained my rent wasn't up on the house I was renting until June 1st but I would be willing to move out 1st week of May to ensure I had a spot for my rv to live in. I asked her if I could come in within the next week which would be April be around April 23,2021 and pay the full price which was 495.00 plus 150.00 deposit and move in @ may 3-7 2021. She said yes that would be fine, I said good my disability is paid on 3rd of month and I wanted to be able to pay 3rd of each month she said your rent won't start until you occupy the space I said great perfect. So on 23rd of April I went in Mgr was not on duty the lady that took my money and rented me spot argued with me about the leaving deposit said they don't reserve spots, I explained what conversation I had with mgr and had arranged she said ill have to call mgr of course mgr did not answer now mined u mgr lives on site, so clerk said ok ill go ahead with the reservation, I moved in on May 7th notified office I had indeed moved in on this day figuring they would come read electric meter on May 7th and note my rent starting on May 7th, 2021, may 24,2021 comes and mgr calls me saying I was late on paying my rent and electric bill which was 495.00 rent and 85.00 electric, I said what do u mean rent and electric is due I just moved in my rent isn't due until June 7th she said no you paid for spot on April 24th thats when ur rent started and is due every month on the 24th I reminded her of our conversation and of course she didn't recall the conversation, I said well your clerk didn't tell me when I moved in and I dont get paid until the 3rd no way I can pay it, she said ok since I wasn't told she would make my rent due on the 3rd and would not charge me for the days between the 24th and 3rd since it was their error, I didn't argue the 85.00 charge for electric they charged me for 2 weeks sense she credited me the time, everything was fine until July came and new owners took over they raised rent 55.00 month plus charged me 155.00 for electric from 85.00 each past month when I said what the heck mgr tells me she will check meter, next month August 3rd when I went in to pay rent I asked about the meter she said it was OK that the previous charges were correct I said I dont see how, but wasn't going to argue although magicly my electric bill went back down to 90.00 from 150.00 from previous month, so I knew they were jacking me and other around come to find out after talking to other in park so I elected to move out now mind you my rent was suppose to be on the 3rd of each month I went in today after clean spot after moving to get my remainder of deposit back minus electric bill today is first rent due on 3rd I go called office a week ago to let them know ill be moving on the 1st I go in to tell mgr its cleaned up and she says well after deducting the 150.00 deposit i owe 430.00 for rent saying I owed from 24th to 1st at nightly rates. Bunch of B.S avoid this place...
Read moreWe stopped here on a suggestion of the Work Camper at RV 93 Campground in Twin Falls, ID. And it could not have been more fortuitous. Our Powerstroke diesel broke down and this campground was within walking distance of Gallgher Ford in Elko.
The husband and wife owners could not have been any more gracious. Broke down in Elko anticipating thousands of dollars in tow vehicle repair was daunting. We felt right at home here. Full hook ups, gravel paved pull thrus. spic and span clean showers/bathrooms. We had dinner at the sports bar our first night and the server was all hustle and very engaging. Working not only behind the bar but the kitchen and dining room, she had game and this reflected in her attitude and the tip we left her. We were permitted a late check out because the Ford dealer was kinda iffy on committing to a completion time. We would recommend this for an...
Read moreCalled and asked about availability, the lady on the phone said "We can take ya"! Check in process was quick and easy. The lady at the front desk was great. Sites are very close to each other, just fyi. I had zero issues hooking up to all my rv connections. Weird tho, I had a neighbor that was fully hooked up AND running the generator as well....for at least 8 hours. I only took exception to the exhaust pipe from said generator being pointed towards my rig. Couldn't open my windows. Their dog walk area is sharp-ish gravel at the far end of the property and not a real walk area. My old pup didn't care for walking on it. Their bar and grill seating was limited due to co-funk19 but I was still able to go in an have a couple beers. Ordered the mac daddy burger. It was good. Very overpriced tho. $17+ for a bacon cheeseburger and small amount of fries...I could've...
