I hate to leave bad reviews, but I have called three different entities trying to figure out how to change my reservations. Thankfully, I scheduled through Amex, who is going to dispute everything because I screenshot and recorded every conversation because of some detrimental issue we needed to change the days by one day in other words, arriving one day later and leaving one day later and they were gonna charge us over $150 to do this. I called the office so many times and so did multiple of their entities who were trying to help out the situation and no one was able to reach the office. I even had someone walk into the office since I live in Texas and there was no one at the front desk the amount they wanted to charge me for changing it by one day was absurd since I could go back on my American Express website and book the dates that I needed for less than what I had just scheduled them for don’t go here literally save yourself time and energy and money . I even called the corporate office to try to get their help and they admitted they can’t get hold of anyone in the office either. This is the worst place you could ever stay and I would rather sleep in my car that says a lot too since I’m usually a five class traveler, and I never stay in places That don’t meet my needs of course answering the phone is part of needing to meet a need you can’t always predict a death in the family but when it happens, you do need the hotel. You’re scheduled to go to to answer the phone stay away from this place. It is horrific. The owners are horrific the way they run their service is horrific. I will never get 3 1/2 hours of my time back I had to screen shot everything in order to prove to American Express. I did do diligence go stay somewhere else next time I’m in Elko. Read moreThis should be listed as “Lack of Quality Inn” My family traveled across the country to attend a funeral for a family member prior to our arrival we searched for photographs of the place we were looking to stay. The photos of this place appeared to be nice however, when we arrived, it was everything but nice. My son and his wife went to their room upon arrival and found the bed to be unmade and the room not made up. They were given another key to another room and finally ended up going to the local Walmart to buy sheets to put over the bedding in the room. In my room, they had painted the floor around the bedspread. The curtains were hung on two different rods not even matching at the center. There were candy wrappers on the floor between the refrigerator and the closet. I did not even want to take off my shoes. When I sat on the edge of the bed, the mattress frame and springs of the bed nearly cut the back of my legs . This mattress must have been in that room since 1912. After a 4 hour drive to get there plus a four hour flight to Salt Lake City, If I hadn’t been exhausted, I wouldn’t have even stayed in the room, my sister who is disabled and her husband were unable to sleep at all in their bed, not only because of the bed itself, but because the room temperature kept fluctuating between freezing cold and roasting hot. We had requested an accessible room because she is disabled and she could barely even turn around and had to have her husband help her off the toilet as there were no bars. I have never had an experience in a hotel as disappointing. Further, we called the corporate office to request a refund of our money because the circumstances were so heinous. Read moreI am a Choice Gold member and stayed in Choice or Wyndham motels around 80 times in 2023. In september 2023 I booked here 2x 2 nights (2 Queen) and was very disappointed by quality standard and service.

The Quality Inn does not have an ice machine connected to a water supply. If you're lucky, there are a few ice cubes in a freezer near the front desk left (photo). But each guest reaches in with either their hands or a small metal scoop. That's unappetizing. If there is no ice at all, the front desk says that Walmart did not supply enough ice…
There was no milk for breakfast on 2 days. When I asked the front desk, they said Walmart hadn't delivered…
The hot water for tea wasn't hot on 2 days either. Some guests took their cereal and teabags for heating to the micro in their room.
Nobody cleans the breakfast table during breakfast time. The guests themself are responsable for that.
Washing machine and dryer were marked "out of order" (photo). When I asked the front desk, they said that both machines had been broken for a long time, but you could have your laundry washed in the large hotel washing machines... I asked myself, do I really want that? Laundry as service is still on the website.
After all I decided to cancel night no.3 and 4 in the Quality Inn and switched over to the Comfort Inn. While checking out I asked for the management. The front desk answered, that the manager is in India and not available.
In the Comfort Inn around the corner no problems with laundry, ice machine, hot water and milk for breakfast yet. And the entrance and rooms are...
