Good Blends — Restaurant in Elko

I’ve been coming to Good Blends for three months now, I’ve noticed the smoothies aren’t consistent. Sometimes there’s ice chunks, sometimes it’s too watery & sometimes they are PERFECT! The main reason I’m writing this review is because of dishonesty happening at the drive thru window. When I gave my credit card for payment of $7.27, she took the card and swiped it and then acted strange not allowing me to sign it, they usually give it to me to sign? She said everything‘s fine you can go, so I left, this morning I noticed a two dollar tip was added. The employee gave herself a tip of two dollars, I know this is not much money but this should not be happening!! I have contacted my credit card company and reported fraud.

This is beyond unacceptable and the manager will be notified. I tried calling today and they told me the manager was not in today. BE AWARE OF TIPS BEING ADDED TO YOUR...

I don’t write reviews, but, I will for this place. They have a cozy cafe look and feel with big comfy chairs and a lovely minimalist decor, complete with a small library (I recommend the brown trout book). They always have fast, friendly service. I get the iced americano with oat milk and it’s perfect, however, the real reason I come here if for the breakfast burrito. The last few times I’ve been - they’ve nailed it completely. The way the cheese oozed after a bite, simply the best. The ratio of potato, egg, and sausage was 💯. The tortilla was not too moist, not too dry, and not oily. The level of seasoning on point. There are few things I hold sacred in this world, and a perfect breakfast burrito is one of them. I’ve been on this quest for a while and I’ve found my holy grail. I am on a very special diet and needed to spend 5 days in Elko for business. I ended up hauling my Vitamix with me, but i still needed my daily morning 16 oz. Celery juice. Carmen the manager was so friendly and aaccommodating even buying organic celery for me.

It was ready every morning when I walked in at 6:30 a.m.! Marco served me most days and was he every kind and efficient. I would highly recommend this cute and healthy place to travelers and anyone local who is into or trying to get into vitality & wellness. They have all kinds of fruit & veggie smoothie combos or they will make one special just for you!! They have a passion for people here. The ambiance inside is unmatched!!!
