G's Pizzeria Elkton MD — Restaurant in Elkton

I got G's delivered for dinner. I ordered the shrimp alfredo fettuccine which came with bread and a salad. The salad was fresh, the salad dressing was really good quality, and the bread tasted homemade. The portions were huge! I was pretty excited to try the pasta, and was so disappointed. The shrimp still had the legs on it which grossed me out and is not something I look for in a pasta dish. I did not like how the shrimp tasted although that could just be a personal preference about how it was seasoned or cooked. If the shrimp were the only issue, I would have been disappointed but gotten over it. However, the sauce was lacking flavor, and I'm unsure if it was the sauce, the pasta, or a combination of the two, but it had a thick and gluey consistency. If I had been able to eat all of my food, $18 for this meal would have been reasonable, but as I could not get through more than a few bites, it felt like a huge waste of money. I might try this place again in the future, but...

Ordered over $100 worth of food for pickup. They let me pay, then told me that something I ordered wasn't available. Had nothing like it to replace with, so selected garlic knots. Was told they would give a double order. Had a couple boxes & bags, so didn't check things until we got home. Didn't even give us the garlic knots. Another item was missing. Pizza was made wrong. Cheesesteak didn't have the toppings I asked for. Called to let them know. Said they would send a driver out. 40 mins later, we get a call from the driver. Says he's at a totally different address, trying to deliver the food. Says he'll be here in 5 mins. 20 more mins go by. We call the shop again. Guy on the phone was very rude. New food was cold & hard. Did not replace the cheesesteak that wasn't made right. Not all of my family got to eat together. I will never order from this...

I have been looking for a great NY style pizza since I moved here from NY. I have found a few good places among quite a few not so good. I came across this place accidentally and I was so happy I did! I went in to try a slice while I was running errands. Upon entering, the owner introduced himself and his family to me. Very friendly. The place was very clean and had a good energy. Several pies were out and they looked and smelled great! I only ordered a slice (this time) and I was surprised at how big it was for $3.99!! I picked it up and I could tell right away that it was going to be good! I was wrong, it was GREAT! Finally got a NY crust, the right cheese pull and flavor, mushrooms were delicious and the pepperoni was delicious.

I have finally found my pizzaria in my area!

Everything looks so good I can't wait...
