Went to jiffy treat tonight around 10pm ordered 2 sandwiches, 2 cyclones, a pup cup and jalapeño poppers. Paid around $35. Parked in the lot to eat and realized they forgot the jalapeño poppers so my husband walked up to the window to get them and got accused by a blonde haired lady that he was lying and just trying to get free food. She told my husband he needed a receipt for proof so he came back to the car and got it, showed it to her and she continued to accuse him of trying to get free jalapeño poppers. She claimed she put them in the bag when she did not. When she gave him his jalapeño poppers she told him this is the last time that he’ll be getting free food and not to try it again. It was absolutely embarrassing and she was incredibly rude. Never had a bad experience til tonight. Not sure what her name is but she was awful. I hope she wasn’t a manager acting how she did. Terrible way to handle things. If we tried freeloading then we would have taken the extra stuff she was trying to give us when we received our food. She tried giving us someone else’s order and we told her that wasn’t ours so she was already making mistakes from the beginning and we didn’t take advantage. You can’t falsely accuse people of trying to get free food jiffy treat! That’s not the way to do customer...
Read moreThis is a locally owned ice cream place along the road in Elliotsville. We stopped here after going to the driving range down the road. The menu was huge. I told the guy at the window that we had never been there before, so it would be a minute (when he asked what we wanted). It was a Friday around 2pm and we were the only ones in line outside. He was a bit rude and not helpful to even answer my questions about what a cyclone was or guide me on ordering something I would like. They have a window at the front to order and also a drive-through. They have lots of parking. There's a side eating area, but in February, it doesn't look appealing.
I asked what brand the icecream was, because sometimes business will put homemade but it actually isn't. The guy and girl at the window were a little taken aback and said it's homemade, which told me its actually homemade. I decided to order a sundae with a scoop of the chocolate peanut butter with caramel sauce. It came in a Styrofoam cup. I also ordered a taco Supreme which was soft shell, ground beef meat, lettuce, tomato, sour cream.
The icecream tasted good! But I got whipped cream and a cherry and I didn't ask for that part. I should have gotten something crunchy in it too, but o well.
The taco was good, but it was just a normal taco,...
Read moreStopped this week for 1st time, ordered a rocky road cyclone, as I'm eating it I taste peanuts...never an almond in it & it was barely to the top of cup... What's the point of putting a dome lid on it if it doesn't even go above the cup? Couple days later I stop back to let them know I didn't have any almonds in my rocky road ..maybe they just made it wrong? And she informs me no it's peanuts...WHY? rocky road has almonds so I'm confused of why you put rocky road on a board but you don't have almonds and I asked her if you had almonds and you don't even carry it to me, it sounds like they're too cheap to buy them! Not that you could get one more thing on that board but to me if you're not gonna carry the correct items you should list what's in the cyclone because you're not making it with...
