I came in to grab reddiwhip and pie crust. I saw a cashier who wasn't busy and entered her lane with my items. After putting her phone down she proceeded to ring up my items without uttering a worrrrd. Not one friendly word. She never said "welcome to safeway", no "hi how are you?", no "did you find everything ok?", no "thank you", and she didn't even look at me when she put the receipt in my hand. This bothers me but usually not to the point of writing about it. But before I even walked away, she says "hi how are you?" to the women behind me. Are you kiddin me???
I took the high road and walked out calmly. I won't print what I REALLY wanted to say and do. Needless to say, she was rude, UNfriendly, UNprofessional, and as discourteous as a retail employee can be. HER NAME IS SUCHIR. And im going to seek her out next time I'm there and if she is rude to me again by not demonstrating positive customer service, im gonna call her out on it, loudly.
I'm 60 years old. I dont know what happened to cashiers with good customer service at this Safeway location. SUCHIR definitely needs to be retrained to understand how vital customer satisfaction is...
Read morePathetic customer service by the guy named Mike R. In the Enchanted forest safeway He does not have courtesy to attend to customers properly. He was so lazy to write a rain check that he claimed they don't do rain checks first.. Then, he said there is a limit on items .. when I told him I haven't bought a single box of the cereal type my son loves yet. Then he said you have some other cereals , so that is the limit. When I asked for manager, he even accused me that I might be reselling them.. wow I can make thousands selling 5 boxes of cereals of $5.99 which they have advertised as promotion to buy minimum of 5 . When insisted for manager , he gave a name of George like he didn't care about him or he is in total alignment with him already for this type of rude insensitive customer service .
What sort of people does Safeway hire anyway..

Due to this unsatisfactory encounter, I have decided to transfer my prescription to Amazon Pharmacy, where I hope to receive the level of service and care that was lacking at Safeway. Or at least I won’t have to deal with human who may be having a bad day. Disappointing experiences like this should serve as a wake-up call for Safeway Pharmacy to reevaluate its customer...
