Tandoor Spice — Restaurant in Ellicott City

I recently ordered takeout from Tandoor Spice, an Indian restaurant in Woodstock, MD, during a road trip from NYC. As someone who has enjoyed authentic Indian food in India, I must say Tandoor Spice truly impressed me.

The flavors and taste of the dishes instantly reminded me of the delicious meals I've had in India. Each dish was expertly prepared, with the perfect blend of spices and seasonings, reminiscent of the authentic flavors I love. It was truly some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had in the US.

What made my experience even better was the reasonable pricing, making it a great value for the quality of food offered. Additionally, when I went to pick up my order, I was pleasantly surprised by a discount they gave me—a generous gesture that added to the overall positive experience.

I particularly enjoyed the Shahi Paneer and Paneer Butter Masala, which were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Overall, Tandoor Spice exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to visiting again on my next trip...

We ordered take away online and they had it ready within 20 minutes (they gave us a call when it was ready which was very nice). But before we arrived to our restaurant, our plan had changed and we actually wanted to eat in the restaurant. The server was very accommodating of changing our take away order to a sit-in experience and refused to charge us a service fee, which was very kind (we ended up tipping him for his kindness). We ordered the chilly chicken, chicken tikka masala, and chicken biryani with raita. All were amazing, with just the right amount of spice and full of flavor. They even threw in a sample of kheer for us for free!

Dear all. I am a Tourist from india visited these restaurant and when ordered for malai kofta I was told it will be yellow color and sweet in taste.Hence I ordered but when I received the same it was not yellow and some orange color and not sweet when I told the same to owner he says it's yellow color first and then asked me whether I am desi when replied yes I am he told it will be same and just taste it when started testing he visited the next table to mine and was trying to explain them that they do not understand the color and he said that he has worked with a five star hotel in india .when I told to replace he told that that is the only thing he can offer and just like obliging me that we don't have to pay the bill as I started having youhort but I left and having anything and empty stomach .
