At best the food at this location is acceptable. Hardly does it ever taste fresh, or temperature taste like I ever hit the right timeframe no matter the time I visit to receive hot food. I usually don't leave poor reviews based on food not being the right temp for fast food. Where this location failed is customer service. The mobile app offers drive thru pickup which is what I select for my orders every time. I have picked up a few mobile orders via the drive thru from this location. Tonight when I pulled up to the intercom at my specified pickup time. I was told, "We only do mobile orders inside." "Okay, well I'm in the drive thru and have picked up orders at this location in the drive thru before?" "Sorry, we don't do that." 1) you already have a customer who has had to wait in the drive thru line for an order they specified as drive thru pick up when placing their order. 2) You're going to continue to make that customer sit in that line as once there's someone behind you there's no way out of line. Just so they can then park to come inside to pick up their order that had drive thru pickup selected. 3) If your location doesn't want to offer drive thru pickup and not be accommodating when the customer places a mobile order selecting this option, then please don't utilize the mobile app OR see if your location can not offer the drive thru pickup via the app. 4) From a customer service stand point, please consider that not all your customers selecting drive thru pickup are lazy. I'd imagine a good portion of us have lives of hard labor, disabilities, or on the go lifestyles that effect the decision to do drive thru pickup.

Read moreI'm always very upset leaving this establishment [please be advised it's very uncommon for me to complain] first off, the food is top notch.. GRANTED you don't have to wait for 15 minutes [actually an understatement] for it while impatiently waiting in the drive thru. I'm not sure if it's just Ellijay, or all over; but if you've got more than four cars in front of you.. expect to be their NO LESS than half an hour. It was ridiculous. Four years ago, when I was 18; I worked at Wendy's in the drive thru position and I SUcKED at it. But I wasn't this bad. I almost drove off even though it was my turn. Pulled in at 6:50 left at 7:29. Read moreI don't like doing this but it needs to be said. I've been coming to this spot regularly for years. I used to come after church but over the last few months it has really gone downhill. Last week was the last straw. The workers are rude and loud. They're on their phones or standing around talking and I been ignored at the front counter too many times now. The place is always dirty. I or my wife would speak to a manager but between being ignored and hearing the workers talk about how the managers are screwing each other after hours makes this place somewhere I no longer want to spend money. I have grandkids. Dairy Queen should be a family place. I won't bring them somewhere where that kind of nasty talk is going on. But the owner should know what's going on. Do your business a favor.
