Mixed review. Parking, good luck! Had to move my vehicle twice to let people out bc it was packed in a tiny parking lot. Gotta say they DO stay busy. Locals will be seated and fed BEFORE to-go orders. Had to wait 1 hour on 2 ribs n a side of potato salad, while watching people sit n eat. Locals ordered after me and go their food, just to be told, "They called in". They did NOT! I watched them order. About 35mins in, no food yet, I asked for a refund. Girl said they DON'T GIVE REFUNDS. so HAD TO WAIT for my small plate to go. Okay..the food..all I got was 2 ribs n potato salad. Ribs were not even luke warm, but they were big and smoke flavor was good. The potato salad was "loaded", it was good as well. They kept telling others, we are out of this or that. So not sure about other foods. All in all the food I got ..was pretty good. Just call WAY AHEAD or be a local to get...

Perfect que! I got a sampler. Ribs, brisket, sausage, pulled pork. It was too much food for lunch. I had leftovers for another lunch about three days later.

Flavor profile is nice and smokey. The dry rub is just right, not over powering. Ribs were fall off the bone tender but not dry. The brisket was very good, I am picky about brisket and typically do not order it at most bbq joints unless I am in Texas. Swamp brisket was smokey, flavorful, not dried out, and tender.

Their sauce was just ok. But honestly the food did not need it.

1 small additional positive, the to go tray is the best I have ever been given at a restaurant. It is heavy duty with no flex and can hold and carry the food well. Most places use the cheapest, flimsiest, styrofoam junk. Not here. It makes...

So many wonderful things to say about this place. First off, if you're looking for southern hospitality you will find it here. The food...oh my word! Let me tell you, we are from Memphis and we eat a lot of BBQ and Swamp Shack blew us away. My husband had the brisket plate- it was the most tender brisket we've ever had. The beans and potato salad were wonderful too. I had the BBQ chicken tacos. The chicken was full of flavor and so tender. The slaw had just the perfect amount of dressing. The tacos were so good. I would eat them again for my next meal. The owner came by our table and visited with us - super nice guy. We met his wife and his parents were in there eating too. They were all the kindest people. We left there...
