Dunkin' — Restaurant in Ellsworth

Now I’m not one to leave a bad review but I would rather people know about what kind of experience they’re gonna have when coming here. It’s never used to be a bad place but I sat here this morning for 40 minutes. 40 minutes for a donut and coffee and I love my Dunkin coffee and I like to treat myself out every now and again I normally go to Walmart because it’s fast as quick very very friendly service. I love the people there. I just love the atmosphere and how fast they are at doing everything. Last time I came here I sat in line for at least half an hour was almost late to work and it says hop off matters. I didn’t even get what I ordered coffee wise And when I was told they could fix it up and put the whipped cream in the drizzle and stuff on it like I had originally asked for because they said that the person taking the order is never put it on there so they didn’t think that I’d ordered it even though I already paid for it I waited so long that I just left not only that but it’s the last time coming here. I literally sat in line for over 40 minutes. I was by far unimpressed. My coffee doesn’t even taste right and I didn’t have time to go to Walmart and just have them make me one so if you’re looking for not so friendly service and to sit in line for well as long as I had to you probably don’t wanna come here, especially if your work has a strict schedule and you can’t be late so which is how most places are these days all I can say is, I will not come back here again until they get their staffing or whatever situated so that people aren’t having to wait that long in line. I literally watched two people leave because they were tired of sitting there waiting either that or maybe they had to be to work and couldn’t afford to be late. I went somewhere else I don’t know, but I was going to and I just said you know I’ve already sat here and waited almost half an hour. What’s another 20 minutes half an hour I’m late then whatever but I would get in trouble so for good. I’d wait until I couldn’t anymore and I would’ve been pissed if I hadn’t gotten the coffee I’ve just never been so unimpressed with especially Dunkin. I’ve literally not anywhere. Have I had to wait that long in line just for a coffee and donuts well besides Wendy’s maybe. And the person that was taking my order the first time around like just didn’t even seem to care you could tell that he hated his life And did not care about the customers or really anyone it was just in his voice that’s why I like going to Walmart that is Just overall the best place to go in my opinion even the Dunkin on the hill they’ve messed up my coffee before more than one time they overcharged me because apparently the new girl had no idea what she was doing. Clearly she wasn’t trained properly or something I guess so. I haven’t been back to...

TL;DR Gave them more chances than my boyfriend, each time disappointed me more than the last.

The first time I visited this Dunkin location, the worker that gave me my food did not say a single word to me the entire time. I also received only four hashbrowns in my bag. However, I understood that maybe it was just a fluke visit for this location, so I went back again. My avocado toast was blackened and my matcha was not mixed at all. The fact that there was unmixed matcha powder trapped under the lid in addition to a heavy coating at the bottom wasn't the only gross thing about my visit, since, again, there was not a word spoken to me. Still confused why there are so many good reviews for this location, I went back a third time to play devil's advocate. My avocado toast was not toasted at all...warm, but no sign of being toasted. My friend's mocha cold brew had an inch of unmixed mocha at the bottom, and my matcha needed to be remade because the wrong milk was used. The only way it could've been worse is if I had a nut allergy and didn't check the label on the side after I drove off. Eric was very understanding about remaking my drink, and was kind the entire time. However, three times in a row is a good indicator of the quality of an establishment. If you don't want to waste your time and money, go to the one at the top of the hill. Stellar service there every...

My order is usually never right. 95% of the time I have to have it remade. Which, they will do but it gets old quick. Tyler always gets it right and he is super nice! When it's busy there forget about them getting anything right. They skip orders, make some twice and run around like they have no clue what they are doing. The place has definitely gone down hill in the last year. The crew there now has no clue. Update: I went to this location on 8/6/18. I was the only customer. Before the cashier could take my order she had to finish her conversation with another employee who was assigned to the sandwich station. I ordered and iced coffee (nothing special other than dark roast) and chicken tenders. The girl who made my drink messed it up. Fortunately she realized this before giving it to me. She gave me my drink and I continued to stand there and wait for my food. The employee working on food was not at his station. Nor did he come to his station for almost 5 minutes. Once he got there I was now 1 of 4 people waiting on food. He very casually started making the food while making sure to continue his conversation he was having with another employee. When my food was finally ready he sat in on the counter and stopped talking long enough to say what it was and went back to talking. No sorry for your wait, or have a nice day. Nothing. Just...
