Fancy Plants Maine — Restaurant in Ellsworth

Ohhh my gosh. We love Fancy Plants! My partner and I decided to check it out a few times and loved the food. As we were planning our wedding my partner stopped by and on a whim asked Jeff the owner if they’d cater a small wedding and they enthusiastically agreed!

Every step of the way Jeff worked hard to get the flavors just right for us and our guests. We had a tasting and the food was absolutely phenomenal. At the event the service was completely on point and every morsel from the appetizers to the mains was perfect. Even the omnivores commented on how great it all was. (Also as an aside - cleanest food truck I’ve ever seen!)

I would recommend these folks to absolutely anyone looking to cater an event with delicious plant...

Brownie was surprisingly delicious. The tofu is spicy but not overly so; jackfruit was better than I've had in the past. I wish there was more sauce on the tacos to flavor the black beans that tasted bland... or more of the flavorful slaw on top. Unfortunately they were out of soup and out of Mexican...

So happy to have a fully plant based option for lunch in Ellsworth. It’s one of the best vegan lunches near Bar Harbor!! I had the Tlayuda with tempeh chorizo for lunch and weddings cookies for desert. Delicious!! I’m looking forward to taking my in-laws when they’re in town. Thank you for a...
