Fiesta Rosita - Ellsworth — Restaurant in Ellsworth

I am posting this in hopes that this venue will learn something from reading it. When we entered the establishment there were no other customers however there was one table that hadn't been cleared--food left on the plates etc. --understandable if the patrons had just left. As we sat there, nothing changed through our whole meal--no effort to clear that ONE table. The service was very slow, food was ok, nothing spectacular but of course that is personal opinion. What was very frustrating to us was that for most of the time we were eating one of their children was crying continuously. I try to remember I had little ones at one time too; but it certainly wasn't the ambiance that we enjoyed throughout our meal. They never checked on us as to how we were doing -- most likely because of caring for their child. We really want this type of restaurant to succeed in our small town but it just cannot if these...

Overall I recommend the spot. It's nice to have a Mexican restaurant in town.

Walked in and the place was clean there were plenty of place to sit in our server greeted me almost immediately.

I got the complimentary chips and salsa like most Mexican restaurants. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and it came out very quickly. It looked to be a bit on the small side however once I started eating it I realized it was absolutely packed with chicken. Here's crispy on the outside and the chicken was moist and delicious on the inside.

The beans and rice were, well, beans and rice. They tend to be the same everywhere I go they were not amazing but they were not bad either.

The service was some of the best I've had anywhere.

Ordered a chicken chimichanga and nachos w/cheese. The chimi was soggy and bland, beans & rice were pasty and the cheese on the stale nachos tasted worse than canned processed cheese. The nachos that came with the chimi were very stale. The only part that was remotely good was the salsa and lettuce.

The restaurant is dirty inside along with fly strips hanging around the food...
