Hands down, this is the only coffee shop I desire to go to. I stop in 3-4 times a week to get my caffeine fix. They are spot on in all the right categories. The staff and owner are a prime example of what a hometown local business should be. This is truly the best spot in Ellwood City.
Staff and Service - Every single person that I have interacted with here are the epitome of what customer service should be. They are amazing. They care about their customers and it shows in every interaction. Always smiling and cheerful.
Quality of Product - Seriously, I have not ever had a better coffee experience anywhere. I have tried many different items from their menu, both the drinks and their food. I have never been disappointed. Staff knows what they are doing and it shows in every sip or bite you take. My favorites drinks are their Mocha Frappe, extra shot of expresso, no whip and their tasty cold brew. Food wise, favorite is either their tasty Blueberry Muffins or their breakfast quiches. Very delish!!!
Atmosphere - The building is an older building that does have some flaws, but I see that as character and history. The inside of the shop is warm and inviting. They showcase local artists. Artwork and decor is tasteful. Customers always seem to be enjoying themselves.
Price - They are amazing. Many times I have stopped here gotten drinks and food for 2 and spent under $20...
Read moreThis was my go to stop for a great drink on the weekends but after my experience today I feel I need to find a different coffee shop. The past couple times I have came here everything but the service has been amazing. Which is an absolute shame. Being kind and having a smile on your face takes zero effort. I showed up today at 3pm with my son and his girlfriend and immediately felt as if I was intruding. The barista behind the counter would not even say hi to me after I kindly said hello. After taking our order her co-worker came out from the back and the barista loudly said “it’s always when I am cleaning up for the day that someone comes.” Please advise, your door indicates the shop closes at 4pm. I was really taken back by the behavior but decided to push my feelings aside. We then sat down and the coworker came to each table and started flipping the chars up on top as if they needed to lock the doors asap. She even went as far to state loudly how she “couldn’t wait to get out of there.” We then left assuming we were impeding on them closing which was strange to me. Why be open until 4 yet close the store up at 3? I was pretty upset as I genuinely love to shop and support local, especially for the...
Read moreThis coffee shop had a great vibe when we walked in as we were looking for somewhere to grab a quick breakfast. We placed our order asking for two coffees and an Italian sando. The kind girl taking people’s orders asked the barista next to her if they could still make the Italian Sando and the barista responded “I don’t even know what that is”, but the girl washing dishes was able to say no. Instead we ordered avocado toast. After our drinks were made, we stood there a little longer waiting for the toast, the one washing the dishes asked the barista what we were still waiting for, but she was unsure. The girl who took the order asked what we needed and we nicely reminded her that we needed the avocado toast. We received the avocado toast as pictured below which doesn’t match the description on the menu. We quietly left as to not stress them out more than it appeared they already were. As someone who has worked in this industry, I would just suggest giving them grace as a patron; however, there’s some training things that should be looked into about communication...
