McDonald's — Restaurant in Emmett Charter Township

Waited over 20 minutes for five things. Had to go back up for more nuggets waited another 20 minutes for four piece. Sandwich was cold fries were cold and soggy. Place was absolutely disgusting dirty. In the lobby and behind the counter. So bad that customers were even cleaning off by the pop machine because there was pop all over. Every table had food napkins salt condiments on it. it look like it hadn’t been wiped down in days. Food on the floors everywhere. My food was absolutely horrible!My fries were so cold and soggy. fish sandwich was cold on the center to the point I was scared of eating and getting sick. Not to mention the lady in front of me had to bring back her food twice due to it one being Raw and Then the Second time it wasn’t made the right way. Had to go back up to get another four piece nugget since my son dropped his out of the happy meal box. Waited another 20 minutes. for 4 flipping nuggets !!!! Looking behind the counter there was food everywhere didn’t look like the Floor had been mopped ever. Ice cream machine was filthy Greece and rags on the floor by the fry machine.... Most disgusting McDonald’s I’ve ever been to! Don’t know how this place can stay open with how disgusting the place is and slow they are. I've been going to this McDonald's for over 5 years. The excellent service that I experienced has recently declined, maybe a new manager, who knows. I'm never going back to this location. I ordered a simple kids meal with a burger. Went home and there were only fries. Frustrated, I went back with the kids meal and receipt, and handed it back to them and send something is missing. We'll... they couldn't figure out what I wanted( even with the receipt). I went to the next drive thru window and told the young lady you didn't give me a burger with the meal. She got upset ( I didn't raise my voice) and started yelling at the customer (me). I didn't deserve that and raised my voice saying I only want the food that I paid for. Well... this female employee threw the kids meal at me and said she we getting her manager. I told her okay, hope your day gets better. Oh, I documented this interaction. Thorough about taking to the police, I'll let it go, don't want to make her day any worse. Not going back there again, plenty...

Doesn't set any standards, except that it continues to perpetuate the belief in my mind, that McDonald's is an evil corporation. I have visited the restaurant only once, so I don't have an extensive set of data for the particular restaurant. However, since I've been to a countless number of other McDonald's, I can make a comparison with those, other, establishments. My findings are that quality of food and service will vary not necessarily from different places, but periodically. That's because most McDonald's employees are paid minimum or slightly above, and the franchises have a revolving door hiring situation. The range of service and food quality is fenced by the standards set by McDonald's itself; that doesn't mean what you'll get is going to be like what you see in the TV ads, which is another quibble I have with McDonald's.
