Bojangles — Restaurant in Emporia

My server Adam was so helpful, I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted but he was so understanding and patient as I took my time to decide, informing me of my options and making suggestions which helped me figure out what I was going to have, never would have even thought about the cinnamon biscuit but I'm glad he told me about them, they're frickin' delicious

and i couldn't believe how fast my order came out it was ready before I knew it, I went to plug my phone in and before I could even dig out the charger I turn around and there's Adam coming down the aisle bringing my food to the table,

The whole crew here is a delight in fact, my first visit here I came in but realized things were a bit out of my price range and i didnt have enough money but as I was gathering my things about to leave Danny came up to me asking if i was hungry(not sure if he works here but he had a Bojangles hat on) and he talked to the manager on duty Malana(not sure of spelling) they made sure I didn't go hungry and bought this poor hobo some yummies for his tummies

A most excellent Jingle Jangles(my little pet name for Bojangles) experience or should I say experiences, this location never seems to disappoint 😁

Had another great Bojangles experience to share -

Before I even entered the store I was warmly greeted by Adam as he was pulling into the parking lot, went out of his way even to say hi and ask me what I was gonna have so he could start preparing my order before I could settle in and place it

Then I realized I forgot to let them know I wanted bacon instead of sausage and even though the order was already made they replaced it without a problem their faces smiling, they were so kind about it

Afterwards I felt silly that I had already eaten one biscuit afraid to ask them to replace it but I should have known that it wouldn't be a problem, everyone here is so kind to me

I loveseses this Bojangles soooo much, I'll miss it when I'm gone, thanks for another excellent Bojangles experience

Same visit Another order -

Decided to try the dirty rice this time around, although after I placed my order I remembered with all the constipation I've been having as of late I was trying to avoid rice,

well it looked so nice and moist and fluffy I went ahead and threw caution to the wind digging in with barely a second thought and boy am I glad that I did that rice was f** delicious

i just hope it doesn't back me up but it was so perfectly cooked I doubt it will and even if it does IT WAS WORTH...

Have eaten breakfast at this establishment for years with no complaints but today was different..the so called manager is clueless of what is on the menu apparently..we ordered a sausage egg cheese platter...in the past the platter came with a biscuit eggs sausage and a choice of either bo rounds or grits..for starters they had no grits and we ordered 4 cinnamon biscuits..and was told there was a 5 minute wait on the biscuits..we get to the window to pay and is told they only had two cinnamon biscuits..at this point I'm just ready to cancel the entire order but my boyfriend said just get the two biscuits so we did..and was charged another 4.00 for the two biscuits which we questioned why another 4.00 when we was already quoted a price when we placed the original order with 4 cinnamon biscuits and was told she didn't include the price of the cinnamon biscuits to the order she just charged for the two platters..when we get the bag with our orders my boyfriend looks at the receipt and there is no information of what we ordered or prices on it so he went inside to let them know he wanted the receipt that showed what we ordered and what we was charged...the manager admitted she gave us the wrong part of the receipt and gave my boyfriend the correct one and we left the establishment..we get home and open what was suppose to be sausage egg and cheese platters and there was no biscuit and no bo rounds...my boyfriend at this time was over it..we was charged basically 21.00 for two cinnamon biscuits and some eggs coz we was told the sausage was an extra charge...we was done!!..my boyfriend took it all backed and got a refund...my recommendation is to teach this so called manager what a platter is...noone wants to pay 8.95 just...

I have to say I've been to three Bojangles' restaurants in the last year - one in Kentucky one in Georgia and this one. They are definitely not improving and I no longer look forward to them expanding in Florida.

Lackluster service, lackluster food and this particular restaurant did not have their affairs together in general.

Remember there are serious competitors in this market like Chick-fil-A and PDQ who is going to clean all of their clocks if Bojangles doesn't step up soon they're going to simply be out of business like Hardee's and other smaller chains that don't provide appropriate customer service and top quality product .

The bathrooms were dirty, floors were dirty, tables were not cleaned. Every single trash receptacle was overflowing. The soda machine did not have all of the sodas working and the fries were only warm. The order was incorrect and incomplete.

Thank goodness that I had dine in I would have been very upset had I been moving down the road and discovered that my takeaway meal was incomplete and the soda was not drinkable. They're flushing the lines and not flushing them with clear water and enough soda they still taste like the benzoate germicide.

The manager in charge just wasn't on it - the employees seem to be busy but they just weren't engaged. I would not recommend going out of my way to go to...
