Aurora's Pizza — Restaurant in Enfield

Great new restaurant in town that happens to do pizza, but definitely try the other items as well. Ordered a small Hawaiian pizza, lemon pepper wings and tacos dorado's. The tacos are a must and our favorite thing we tried of the 3. The chicken was tender, shell was crunchy and not greasy at all and the topping was fresh and delicious and the sauce was delicious as well. Wings were a good size, crispy skin and tender and juicy on the inside, but the lemon pepper was a dry rub and a little overpowering. Maybe some fresh lemon would help this flavor out, but I would definitely try some other flavors of wings from here, they have several available. The Hawaiian pizza had a nice crust, thin and had a slight crunch on the outside, but soft in the middle. Not your typical style pizza for Enfield and that's a good thing. I wasn't huge on their Hawaiian pizza because of the sweetness that seemed to be coming from something other than the pineapple (maybe maple bacon or honey ham?). I normally like Hawaiian pizza, but this one just didn't hit me flavorwise...the wife liked it, but I would try a different one next time because the crust and cheese were very good. Great new addition to Enfield dining options. We ordered online through Slice and went on a Friday night close to opening week. It was very busy and they were way past their estimated time. I'm expecting these kinks to get worked out.

The staff was friendly and it was great to see they had someone checking the orders before they were going out. We went home with all our meals however the turkey grinder did end up to be ham. 🤷‍♀️

We had a large order and tried a variety of things. Good size potions and kid friendly options. The grinders were a bit small and pretty typical.

We would highly recommend the tacos, plantains, Mac and cheese and burrito bowl. The aurora's special pizza was good too with a fair amount of toppings. The fried mozzarella also had a unique herby twist.

The tacos were 4 crunchy taco rolls which had a good amount of meat and the toppings on the outside. Very unique and delicious!

The burrito bowl had nice flavors to each of the different foods inside of the bowl. It also reheated well.

The Mac and cheese had a bit of a twist and a mild kick. Definitely not your box Mac and cheese.

Overall really good food and we plan to again and try some...

A new pizza place is always worth an investigation, and I'm so glad we checked this place out early! They do have a dine in area, so we were able to sit and enjoy our food. The dine in area was very clean, We sampled the buffalo chicken and chicken a la vodka pizza (which was my favorite!). They have a pretty varied menu, so I would like to try some of the other offerings. Grilled pineapple lemonade was incredible and my husband raved about the horchata. Their pizza is more of a new haven brick oven style, but a thicker crust than traditional though very soft and chewy. Very unique from other pizza offerings in the area, and this is reflected in the pricing. Would definitely return to try additional menu items, and have that chicken a la vodka...
