Entering establishment I should had turned right back out of establishment...Upon entry it was chaotic. Not addressed and directed to designated area just to be seated, due to its unorthodox floor planning.( people where entering from exit and side entrance that was a foot away from immensely small entry "hosts greeted area".) It was packed and clustered with other customers whom looked confused and from their fustrated demeanors, been waiting uncomfortably. The hostess swapped with another, for the new one to announce to the customers infront of me, she does not know where the "actual hostess" is seating customers and they will have to wait further more until that hostess comes back. Awkward it was for the next few minutes lingering still... Once finally seated, waitress took our order. Only for me to realize into 20 min bypassing, she'd must not had taken my full order being I had received my appetizer, cocktail, and my fiancée meal. (the food was mediocre.) As a customer, we are always right. I was not going to wave her down to remind her of lapse in my meal order, for I am not the waitress. When she confronted me, I informed her of the mistake and politely requested the bill to be brought out. Instead of a foward apology, I got an excuse of her not knowing etc. etc. Followed by her asking if then, to now place the order? Comically to me, after having acclaimed I'm ready for the bill. I declined and was approached, after minutes bypassed, by the manager. He presented himself with a polite demeanor but what he proposed as a solution to the lack of professionalism in his establishment was just insulting. He suggested a $5.00 off coupon for my NEXT visit was to be suffice as a proper gesture of sincerity to make amends for poor customer service and an inexcusable waitress. He was rightly reprimanded cordially from my fiancée, with a verbal reminder of customers are to be valued and acknowledged with decent hospitality, nonetheless, this should be reflected as a gesture on my bill. ( It's the oldest rule of thumb in the food industry especially, to demonstrate such an act as a manager directly to the customer of treatment reflecting us as valued appreciation for our business and an apology for their inadequate service). Long story short, he then removed my cocktail order. The tab was paid and enclosed with reflected short tip of the service and of staff's incompetence. ( a training seminar is in desperate need for this establishment.) I left this place having a complete loss of an appetite and my fiancée having to demonstrate a life coaching session completely free of charge. Food for thought, good old fashioned customer service...

Nestled in the heart of Enfield, Wood-n-Tap is a culinary gem that charms diners with its inviting atmosphere and a menu that satisfies a variety of palates. My recent evening at this establishment left an indelible mark on my culinary journey, fueled by remarkable flavors and exceptional service.
To kick off our meals, we ordered the tuna tartare, a dish that effortlessly balanced freshness and zest. Served with a delightful drizzle of citrus, it was a refreshing way to start the evening, showcasing the kitchen's prowess in seafood. The experience was both light and vibrant, setting the tone for the delicious courses to follow.
Next came my blue cheese burger, an indulgent creation that exceeded all expectations. With a perfectly cooked patty, rich and creamy blue cheese cradled by a soft bun, each bite was a satisfying harmony of textures and flavors. The burger was generous in portion, yet balanced, ensuring that the bold cheese did not overshadow the beef's robust flavor. It's a must-try for any burger aficionado.
My wife opted for the Cajun chicken pasta, and I must say, it was nothing short of delectable. The chicken was grilled to perfection and generously seasoned with Cajun spices that brought a delightful heat to the dish. Complemented by a creamy sauce that bound the ingredients seamlessly, this pasta dish showcased the chef's skill in fusing bold flavors with comforting textures.
To wash our meal down, we indulged in a selection of drinks that were nothing short of amazing. Each one was carefully crafted, enhancing our dining experience. The cocktails were a standout feature of the evening, with their intriguing flavors and beautiful presentations.
Overall, Wood-n-Tap in Enfield offers a delightful dining experience that impresses with its flavorful offerings and welcoming ambiance. With a thoughtful drink selection to pair with every dish, this restaurant is certainly a place I look forward to visiting again. Whether you're a local or just passing through, be sure to stop by for a meal that promises to excite...
Read moreMy wife and I had a rare date night without our kids so we decided to try this location. We didn't make a reservation and waited about 35 minutes, which was totally fine. The atmosphere was great, everything was clean. We ordered our drinks and about 2 or 3 minutes later our Server, Stacy, came back over and said she had forgotten them and asked us again. Okay, no big deal. Then about another 2 or 3 minutes later she asked if I would do a different type of liquor because they didn't have what I asked for. Drinks came, they were okay and we put our orders in. I asked for a chicken wrap, tossed in habanero sauce. My wife pieced her meal together with three small things, one being a salad with dressing on the side. When our food came, she received a salad with dressing on it. After I took a bite of my food and shared it with my wife, I didn't taste any flavor, certainly there was no habanero. Because of this, I asked for a side of habanero. When I received the side of sauce which was great, I could definitely tell there was none in my food because the colors didn't match up at all. My wife and I were worried about our food being done correctly because Stacy didn't write a single thing down. So in total, both of our meals were incorrect, but we were already there, and it was too late to go anywhere else. We were overall just very disappointed and felt that if she would have just wrote our order down, this could have been avoided. We did not have a good feeling about our food being correct after all, she had trouble remembering our 2 initial drinks.
I would try this location again but only with a different server. Unfortunately our entire experience was very negative and it started from our very first drink order. Just disappointing for two parents who both work full time jobs and don't...
