WOW.....SO BAD!!!!

I don't know what happened to this place. Use to come here all the time and the managers were great, were. The new manager they had there on this Monday night the 17th was a JOKE! First they messed up my order and when I go up to ask the manager who name was "Mike", I believe. He had like 3 orders up and freaked out on me for telling him my order was messed up in a very nice manner. I was not trying to stress him out, just trying to get my food right but, wow! Could not handle anything and when I went up to ask him about my meal he said "I have no idea, I need time here to get caught up. Come back to me in 10mins" He actually said that to me. A manager. So he said he was. I asked for the manager, and he said he was in charge. I did not see that though. Could not even awnser a simple question.

Place use to have great management here, but now the people here are just stressed out and freak out on the people giving them money. For the person to tell me he was a manager and freak out on me like that was so uncalled-for. Then I saw another person come up after me with the same problem, and he just straight ignored her. Would not respond AT ALL to her. I have never seen anything like it. They need a real boss there at night, clearly. I have not been here for Breakfast or Lunch in a long time, just been getting Dinner here but, not if this Mike guy is there at night. I will walk right back out if I see that guy again. If I even come back for dinner, we will see.

I feel bad for the great people that are still there. Do not know what is going on now with the Dinner crew though or the manager after this Monday night.

Anytime I go during lunch or Breakfast during the week, it is 5 stars. But not sure about this guy at night working, Mike. Really seems like they need help or something. Can not even answer a simple question for a consumer. How can someone call themselves a manager if they can not awnser a question for someone? A Simple one at that. So sad.

Think I will try Breakfast or lunch one last time before I give up on this place. No more Dinner here though if the same manager is running things. Just plan rude this Mike fellow. Hate to call someone out like that but, WOW what a waste of money.

I kinda wish I would've made this account a long time ago to give thanks to the people who use to serve me SO WELL! Update: I received a discount code to use and decided to use it to give this location another shot with the pizza. It was overdone again that time. Disappointed. However, I have since gotten a pizza from there another couple times and I haven't had an issue with the crust being overdone. Everything else I've gotten from there continues to be great. So I'm updating my review.

Original post: I went back and forth about the rating. I have been to this location a handful of times in the last couple months because I've been changing what I'm eating and Modern Market can accommodate a lot of the restrictions. I had the gluten free bread a week or so ago and it was really good (for gluten free). And the service has always been good. I only pick up, not dine in but people have said hello and been friendly.

Tonight I was craving pizza and I had heard MM pizzas were good. I thought it'd be a great way to scratch the itch without having to pay a lot for a gluten free option (in comparison, MM is great with the price for GF pizza). I was very disappointed when I got it home and opened up the box to notice it was half burnt. I got the bbq pizza, and I didn't taste bbq. Maybe they don't use a lot of the sauce, or maybe it dried out so much from being overcooked that it lost flavor. The cheese around the edges was hard from being cooked too long, and while I like cilantro, I would much rather taste a predominant bbq flavor with a hint of cilantro. All I tasted was cilantro and some onion. And burnt crust. The first bite of each piece was the least burnt so I could tell the crust actually would have tasted pretty decent had it not been overcooked. I'd love to have MM as a gluten free pizza option, but I'm not sure I'd take the...

Stopped in for a sandwich with a few other people. Had the Bacon Jam sandwich, which was really good. Unfortunately, this restaurant is so unclean that I can't return.

Every table that was unoccupied was dirty with crumbs and food smears. No employees were around to ask to clean (one had taken our order and went back to the kitchen, 2 others were clearly on their breaks) so we settled for the least dirty and cleaned it as best we could ourselves.

But the windows were a disgrace. I attached a photo for reference but it clearly looks like the windows were cleaned with VERY filthy water. We could hardly see through the glass. Every single window in the place looked identical to this. This was the inside of the windows btw. Was probably the most off-putting thing I've seen in a restaurant recently, and honestly we all would have left without eating because of this were it not for the fact that 2 of us had low blood sugar and just needed to eat at that point.

In addition, the bathroom was a horrorshow. I went just to wash my hands and somehow felt grosser after. The toilet....was not okay.

It's clear that there isn't much pride being taken in the appearance of this place, which is too bad because the food itself was good.
