Situated in a quiet corner between the vibrant streets of Las Vegas and the Switch facility, SOJO Ramen is a hidden culinary gem that beckons food connoisseurs on a journey of gastronomic discovery. When you step inside, you are instantly transported to a culinary sanctuary that promises to redefine your perception of ramen dining. The ambiance of SOJO Ramen is a blend of subtlety and sophistication. The clean lines and minimalist design of the interior create a contemporary charm that sets the stage for an exciting dining experience. Despite the spaciousness, there is a palpable sense of anticipation in the air, as if the very walls are pulsating with the promise of culinary wonders about to unfold. The gastronomic journey begins with the Chicken Karaage, an exemplary appetizer that sets the stage for the culinary symphony that awaits. Each morsel of tender chicken, marinated to perfection and encased in a crispy, golden-brown crust, offers an interplay of textures and flavors that tantalizes the palate. This is a testament to the culinary finesse of the chefs at SOJO Ramen, who have honed their skills over years of experience and dedication to their craft. As you wait for the main attraction, your anticipation reaches a crescendo, only to be met with the arrival of the SOJO Champon Ramen. The dish is presented with a flourish, exuding an aura of sophistication. The symphony of ingredients is arranged in meticulous harmony within a rich, pork-based broth. From the succulent slices of pork chashu to the briny succulence of shrimp and calamari, each component contributes to the tapestry of flavors that dance upon your palate. The broth, infused with the rich, hearty essence of pork and accented with subtle, aromatic notes of garlic chive and earthy wood ear mushroom, is the cornerstone of this culinary masterpiece. The medley of fresh cabbage, sweet carrot, pungent onion, and sweet corn lends a symphony of textures, while the tender strands of noodles serve as a canvas upon which the flavors can unfurl in all their glory. As you savor each spoonful of SOJO Champon Ramen, you are transported to culinary realms unknown. The boundaries between the ordinary and the extraordinary dissolve into insignificance. At SOJO Ramen, you have discovered not merely a restaurant but a veritable temple of gastronomy—a place where innovation and tradition converge to create an experience that transcends the confines of a typical dining table, where every dish is a work of art and every bite is a revelation. In conclusion, I implore all fine dining lovers to heed the siren call of SOJO Ramen. Within its hallowed halls, a term used to describe the reverence and respect for the culinary artistry that takes place within, lies a culinary journey unlike any other, where every dish is a testament to the enduring power of gastronomy to delight, inspire, and captivate the soul. Whether you seek solace in the embrace of a comforting bowl of ramen or yearn to embark upon a gastronomic odyssey of epic proportions, SOJO Ramen promises to exceed your every expectation and leave an indelible imprint upon your culinary consciousness.

Sojo Ramen does everything very well. We went specifically for the Black on Black, but wanted to order nearly every item on the menu! RESTAURANT: The restaurant is small, but very clean and comfortable. SERVICE: The staff was exceptionally polite, responsive, and quick. FOOD: The black on black ramen has one of the best broths I have eaten. It is pretty heavy and thicker than a traditional ramen broth, but extremely rich in flavor. The noodles were good, but not special. However, the broth alone made the ramen one of my all time favorites. The chili garlic calamari is very airy and lightly battered. It was refreshing to taste more of the calamari than the batter. The ika geso has a crispier and thicker batter than the calamari. However, it works well with the large squid tentacles! The pork chashu tacos have wonton shells, which are crispy and airy like a shrimp chip. It breaks some, when you bite into it, but the flavors are amazing. The green tea churro has a caramel filing. The churro batter is chewy, light, and addicting. It is one of my favorite churros of all time. We loved every dish, want to eat them again, and want to try nearly everything else on the menu. ALL-STAR DISHES: Black on black, chili garlic calamari, ika geso, pork chashu tacos, and green tea churro.

I've tried several ramen spots around Vegas, and this one is easily among the best. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made for a great experience. I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen with thin noodles—absolutely delicious and full of rich flavor. The karaage chicken appetizer was cooked just right—crispy without being overly breaded. What really sets this place apart is the menu. It’s one of the most versatile I’ve seen, offering choices between noodles, rice, or udon, plus options for fried noodles and rice dishes. I also tried the Thai tea and the chicken katsu—both were outstanding. The katsu was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the Thai tea was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. The atmosphere is simple, with a clean and no-frills decor. Music-wise, they play mostly American Top 100 hits, which works fine, though a Japanese playlist could enhance the vibe even more. Still, overall a fantastic spot, and I’ll definitely be back for that katsu!

Wow...they've only been open a couple of weeks and Sojo Ramen is crushing it...many visits coming in the near future..

Sojo Service & Ambiance: A mom & pop sized Ramen house complete with clean minimalist Japanese decor. The dining area is small and I know once the word is out, the dining area will be packed constantly. No murals or art but wooden wall frames paired with wooden tables and chairs makes for a very small but pleasant dining area. Our server was friendly and helped us with the menu. The owner/chef stopped by to check on us and was very friendly. When we left I was given a to go cup for my iced green tea and they even filled it up for me. Awesome

Sojo Ramen+: We went with awesome $12.35 combo that gets you an appetizer and a bowl of Ramen. Our tour of the appetizers were the Pork Chasu Tacos, Garlic kale and the edamame The Garlic Kale came our warm and packed with flavor form the garlic, a pleasant surprise. The Pork Chasu Tacos are tiny in size but full of flavor. The Sapporo Butter Miso Ramen was absolutely fantastic. The broth was savory and the noodles fresh and delish and I would totally believe it if they were made in house. The pork chasu was tasty and all the portions in the Ramen bowl were generous. The ramen noodles were filled almost all the way up to the surface. A++ all around...

Their secret in house "Flaming Sauce" is incredible. I like spicy ramen and this sauce is potent, proceed with caution as it is powerful land absolutely enhances an already great ramen bowl. Sojo Ramen cracked my top 5 ramen houses in Vegas after only being open for two weeks. I'm looking forward to trying the other ramen bowls and the appetizers in future...
