Wouldn't go back. Wasn't sure what to expect... but not happy with what we experienced.
Cons: *Waited 1 hr for a breakfast burrito *No sitting area while waiting, so standing in line and out the door is the option. *Not much was prepped, which is why it it took so long. . . Not a lot of efficiencies. Only can make 8 burritos at a time. They chopped spinach, peppers, and onions as they went... even though those vegetables went on every burrito. They also chopped the meat as it was requested. All of that chopping could have been pre-done with 1 bin in the fridge ready to go. *Seemed disorganized... we asked for a spinach shell and she dug through a box of mixed shells looking for it. Then they finally found a new box and opened it... it makes me wonder if they are following "first in first out." *Only option with meat was breakfast burritos *Spendy! $11 for a burrito with meat... so we only got 1 and shared it. *I noticed one of the guys trying to help in the front at the register... but then going back to chop vegetables. He didn't wash his hands. Then he went outside to get burrito trays and brought them in, wiped them out with a wet towel and brought them to the front to be used again. Then went straight back to chopping veggies. He did something in the sink and didn't even dry his hands before going back to cut vegetables. Standing there for 1 hr and not once did he or anyone else wash their hands. Then I see a sign in the bathroom with a poem about the importance of washing your hands. :o. *Food tasted alright... but not worth a 1 hr wait. *Only drink options were coffee and over priced Orange Juice. *Cash only... but I didn't see any signs about it... only heard it at the register. They have an atm... but its near the register. Which also adds to the wait.
Pros: *Food is fresh, chopped and cooked right in front of you (if you are one of the first on the grill). *System allows you to customize any order. *Atmosphere is cute, little burrito shop near the bay (although it appears to be private property on the bay so you can't sit on the bay... but the...
Read moreI am not one to leave bad reviews, but I have NEVER been to a place in Door County where I left unhappy. When we got there, we were told we could only order online and needed to download an app. After that struggle, we saw that they only offered 3 different kinds of breakfast burritos. We thought it would be a fast order to get done and continued to order 4 basic burritos. After asking multiple times for about 25 minutes, they still couldn't tell us if they received our order (we never got a confirmation email). 30 minutes after ordering, we were told that it would take an hour and a half to make 4 burritos! The excuse we got was that they're "busy filling other online orders." The young men working were moving extremely slow, and weren't very motivated to get their orders done in a timely manner. We asked to speak to the owner and were told that he was on vacation. We then asked to speak to whoever was in charge and the guy turned around and asked "Which one of us is in charge?" We immediately canceled our order. While we were there, 3 other groups ended up canceling their orders as well, all noting how slowly these young men were moving and their lack of customer service skills. I will not even attempt to order from this...
Read moreWe visited July 20 Sunday morning, 2025. Burritos are freshly made in front of you. We went with the. Third level of burrito I can’t really remember the steps, but there’s basically level one burrito, Tood’s eggs and cheese and then a level two with veggies and a level three includes meat. I appreciated that they served chicken option which was a jerk chicken so it was good flavor instead of sausage and bacon only because I do not eat pork. So I got the level three burrito. I think it was deluxe burrito. It was $15. And some odd sense. Really great and then besides having mixed vegetables and mushrooms, peppers, potatoes, a variety, cheese, choices, goat cheese, or cheddar cheese or pepper jack cheese. Then you also could add on a black bean salsa and fresh spinach no extra charge. They do have smoothies and juice and coffee available. They only had outdoor seating from what I could tell. Very friendly service. The wait time was faster than we’ve had in the past which is nice. Maybe they’ve streamlined some things. Five years ago: Really Great breakfast burrito. Sometimes a little wait...
